I’m really dumb because I trust. Stupid. Groomable. Dumb. I just assume everyone thinks like me.
when i was a few months younger i thought that “if you have a friend that you know i hate please dont start glazing them in my notifications” was like… normal and common sense but apparently its not and if you say this people will get upset and start trying to guilt trip you

Are you normal or do you ever think about how we don't have a single chapter from Lanfear's POV (except the 3 paragraphs in winter's heart) and how we largely experience her character through other characters and their own opinions about her and the biased and uncomplete history?
How we never truly see directly on page who she really is, her inner thoughts, her feelings, her mind. And how she's only known for being Lews Therin's jilted ex lover who's obsessed with his reincarnation, but nothing about her being an incredibly smart researcher of the one power, who FOUND THE DARK ONE'S PRISON (we literally learn this not from any history or her pov, but through the magical glass columns showing the unbiased history), one of the strongest if not the strongest female channelers, a dreamer skilled in tel'aran'rhiod, one of the only forsaken to actually SURVIVE the last battle not held prisoner and who fooled both the light and shadow into believing she had died?
Rand really only has Lews' memories and his own experiences about her that shape his and many readers' opinions of her. As a long time Lanfear fan, it's really interesting to see how little fans seem to think about her as a person, her motivations, her state of mind, her suffering and only take what Rand and every other character says about her at face value.
