Dangerous
Dangerous shows more dancing than it does the story, but it still shows enough story to be considered to be part of their storyline. It’s probably the lightest music video that NCT Ice as a group has. It has the typical NCT hip-hop sound. The song doesn’t really have any lyrics that stand out but it is about how dangerous life can be.
The first scene of Dangerous takes place in the woods. The boys are walking around and staring up toward the sky, all four of them raise their hands upward at the same time.
The scene switches to them dancing but when it comes back you can see the boys at a cafeteria. They are leaned in close to each other whispering and glancing across from them when the camera pans to see what the boys are looking at the screen turns white and then switches to another dance scene.
The final story element is the boys in a waiting room. Kangwoo is tapping his leg anxiously, DeeD is looking around as he paces the length of the room, Haru and Justin are sitting in chairs with their heads hung low. The doctor comes into the room and their snap heads snap to him and then they run up to the doctor desperately. The scene switches back to more dancing before the boys can even get to the doctor.
The end scene you see someone in a hospital bed but you can’t tell who it is or what is wrong. The screen then goes black and it says NCT Ice’s official debut date on it, October 12, 2016.
Mystical
Mystical is the sub-unit’s first ballad sang by all the members of NCT Ice and it also has Taeil and Haechan as well. The song talks about life and how it is mystical. It talks about how magical everything can be. It shows the light side of the sub-unit and fans who know the song love it.
It’s really different sounding for NCT even to this day. The song talks about loving life and how you should live in the moment. It’s slow paced and very gentle. It’s one of NCT Ice’s softest songs.
Music
Music is about how music changed the boys’ lives. It’s a very fun and upbeat song and it’s really good for dancing. The lyrics are really meaningful with lines like “you lifted me up and set me free” and “with you, I can say anything” and “music gives me life”
It’s just a super cute and happy song, something NCT Ice wouldn’t put out as much anymore. It has sounds from NCT Dream songs and it was actually meant for NCT Dream but was given to NCT Ice so sometimes NCT Dream will sing “Music” with NCT Ice members on lives.
Heartbreaker
Heartbreaker is one of NCT Ice’s most successful songs. It has a very distinct sound to it and it’s like any other song on the album. The song isn’t a very emotional breakup song like the title might suggest. No, it’s a different kind of heartbreaker. The song talks about how heavy and painful of a blow death is.
Lines like “death is the worst heartbreaker” linger in the minds and hearts of NCTzens and others who listen to it. The song was actually written by NCT Ice members, talking about their loses. It’s the song that everybody demands a music video for. A lot of people say that Heartbreaker is the true title track of the album when it’s not.
