Front row to see Ned Ledoux and Josh Turner last night! It was eerily amazing just how much Ned can sound like his dad. He played some of his own stuff and quite a bit of Chris's stuff. Sure loved getting to hear This Cowboy's Hat, Hooked on an 8 Second Ride, Western Skies, Bareback Jack, Little Longhaired Outlaw, Cadillac Cowboy, County Fair, Copenhagen, Copenhagen Angel. Ned's got a new album coming out really soon and I know I'll be picking up a copy. Josh Turner sure can sing! I haven't followed much of his new stuff and that was a lot of what he played. But he did sing Long Black Train, Would You Go With Me, and Time is Love. Those were worth hearing in person!
MSR – Chase Rice – Lambs & Lions
So today I will be talking about the newest album from Country music singer Chase Rice. The new cd is titled “Lambs & Lions” which was released on November 17th, 2017.
Now just a little look back at Chase Rice’s career. Songs we may remember from Chase like “Ready set roll”, “Gonna wanna tonight”, and “Ride”.
There are 10 tracks on this new cd. The lead single is “Three chords & the truth”. Next track we are going to talk is “Lions” which is half of the title for the album. Other stand out tracks on the cd are “Eyes on you”, “One love, one kiss, one drink, one song”, & his duet song with Ned Ledoux who is the son of Chris Ledoux. The last track is “This cowboy’s hat”.

On the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this cd a 3.75 out of 5 stars. The reason for the rating, the cd was pushed back over a month. And there are a lot of stand out songs on this album and it was tough to narrow the choice down to five that I would talk about on this review. Thanks for taking the time to read this review.
