I love how Polly kissing Nell is the most climatic moment of Pollys life but Nell just rode across the country, saved her sister from an evil theatre kid, and helped a woman give birth, so she’s just like sure okay this is happening and doesn’t even comment on it.

Okay, but is anyone going to talk about how the name Nell literally means light. Nelly was never destined to be anything else, she was meant for magic and Billy from the start. She was meant for good from the second she was born.
Roxy means dawn and star, which fits for the good witch of the story and the lovely sister.
And Georgie/Georgiana means farmer. The ordinary girl, the one with the most left to grow and the one who keeps them all down to earth.
Charles, the aristocratic fake name means free, whereas Isambard means iron born.
Rasselas ironically means prince and Amadin means brave, both of which fit his character perfectly.
Sofia and Thomas, Sofia means wisdom and Thomas means twin. Which makes sense, because Sofia wants to learn everything and Thomas can’t exist without Sofia’s support and protection.
Billy means resolute protector, and he certainly is that.
I just love this series and the thought they put into the characters.
