Neoenby is a gender with a connection to neutrality, but in a way that's largely different from how most enbys/nonbinary people are connected to neutrality. Neoenby is a non-binary identity that is mostly separate from being nonbinary, though it can be described as a gender that is neutral-aligned, ningender, and/or niaspec. Individuals who identify with neoenby may identify with the term because:
- They feel like a "new" kind or type of nonbinary.
- They feel like they're nonbinary and connected to neutrality (partially or entirely) but in a "different" way.
- They feel nonbinary, but inside of the gender binary.

Neoenboy is a non-binary identity that is mostly separate from being an enboy, though it can be described as a gender that is masculine-aligned, neutral-aligned, mingender, and/or miaspec. Individuals who identify with neoenboy may identify with the term because:
- They feel like a "new" kind or type of enboy.
- They feel like they're an enboy and connected to masculinity (partially or entirely) but in a "different" way.
- They feel like an enboy, but both inside and outside of the gender binary.
Individuals who identify with neoenboy will also generally feel neutral-aligned in some way or in some extent as well as being masculine-aligned but this isn't always the case.

Neogirlby is a gender with a connection to femininity, but in a way that's largely different from how most girlbys are connected to femininity. Neogirlby is a non-binary identity that is mostly separate from being a girlby, though it can be described as a gender that is feminine-aligned, neutral-aligned, fingender, and/or fiaspec. Individuals who identify with neogirlby may identify with the term because:
- They feel like a "new" kind or type of girlby.
- They feel like they're a girlby and connected to femininity (partially or entirely) but in a "different" way.
- They feel like a girlby, but both inside and outside of the gender binary.
Individuals who identify with neogirlby will also generally feel neutral-aligned in some way or in some extent as well as being feminine-aligned but this isn't always the case.
