I really don't get sometimes how fans of the Joker miss the fact that whether they like it or not Harley Quinn saved his ass. Cause there's a chance DC would have had to shelve the Joker as a villain in order to avoid alienating their queer and leftist readers if she hadn't been created to distract from the fact that he was a very obviously queer-coded villain with absolutely NO redeeming features in what was not only the AIDS pandemic but also the worst decades for queer hate crimes since the Holocaust. Like he was a rapist (The Killing Joke) who killed children (A Death In The Family) for fuck's sake. And meanwhile Captain America was off saving his best bud's boyfriend👌🏻

And if you have an issue with the Joker being bisexual because of Harley's introduction to the Batfam -- guess what, peeps? He already was established as being bisexual in the 1988 graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke where it was revealed that before becoming the Joker he had been married to a woman and he then proceeded to rape Barbara Gordon.

Ok can we talk about the beautiful use of costume in the 2nd hellboy movie, esp on princess nuala!

In her first sceen she wears the same red as her twin the prince. He is the Films antag. The same outfit shows their physical and psycic link. One cannot exist without the other.

The next time we see her is in the troll market, where she is in a blue gown and coverd by a beige cloak. This is where she first meets abe, who is blue.

In her next few sceens where her romantic subplot is developed she is blue! Abe is blue! Their book is blue! Blue everywhere you look.

In her final sceen in the movie both her and her brother are in gold. This is where she sacrifices herself. She kills herself and her brother and they both turn to stone. (Also in this sceen we see abe cry, when erlier he disclosed that he did not think gimself physicaly capable wich-- aghh!)

Like the costumeing is constantly changeing to reflect her roll in the plot and her relationships to the other charecters.

I absolutely hate Assassin's Creed Black Flag. It's easily the worst game in the franchise... worse than III. Secretly wishing that I wouldn't have even paid $20.00 for it... I can't make myself play it at all. I am, however, excited for Unity... regardless of the fact that Ubisoft opted not to include playable female players. However, didn't Ubisoft center an entire AC game around a playable female assassin in Liberation?

now don't laugh at me:

this is the lamest thing i will have ever said but I am pretty sure the main reason i see things the way i do now is because i was a HUGE  ANIME NERD 

But wait -there is actually some basis to this hear me out! 

I watched a large variety of genres of anime with a large variety of characters, but in particular a lot of shows that REMAIN to be my personal favorites made big impacts on me and formed a lot of my ideas today 

(still sounds really lame though)..

I gained a passion in particular for thinking very deeply about myself and others- of thinking about what their reasoning might be for doing things! One thing anime and manga are good at, albeit MAYBE a little excessively, would be delving DEEPLY into characters. Often their whole personalities are picked apart and struggled through and they grow through both positive and negative interactions with others. I began to see that not all conflicts are bad, and that confronting yourself for doing things is actually a good source of growth and development.

I also became better at WANTING to understand people. In a lot of my favorite shows, the characters often had complicated motivations. I gradually improved on piecing together how people's actions very subtly displayed those motivations, and thus found it more interesting to try and understand the people around me. Instead of seeing them on just their outward actions, I grew more pensive about their motivations and their thought patterns because it was customary in the shows I was watching. -This is kinda unfinished because I lost my train of thought, but 

What I;m trying to say is- 

You shouldn't be so quick to judge someone because they like something like anime. It's a totally different ball game and is a huge medium, filled with both slapstick humor and cerebral mystery. It has become a unique form of expression and I can unabashedly say a good chunk of it provokes some serious feelings from me. Just because it's animated doesn't mean it's intangible emotionally.
