My prof gave us topics for our neuroscience group presentations, so my group will be covering tourette syndrome, which is very complex and interesting
Went snowshoeing and drank apple cider with my friends! Two of them are leaving to do some travelling soon and I'm going to miss them so much
Learned about how the myth of santa may have arisen from shamans and psychedelic mushrooms in my drugs and behaviour class (I love university)
Barely survived my stats classes this week. Our classes are purely discussion and I got completey lost halfway through, which is the worst feeling. But I know now how I can prepare better for next time
Had my first women in stem mentoring event of the semester!
Two lab meetings this week! One of the profs is visiting from her sabbatical and she was so nice and made it clear she's always open to helping us. I'm going to send emails to a few people to get involved in projects which is scary but I can do it!
I love my anthropology class this semester! We're tying in so many things I've learned in psych and looking at them in a different way, and there's so many issues related to mental health that I had never considered before
