The Gilded Guardian, a Cogwork Knight that is an older, prototype model made by the First Architect in the order of Cogwork Knights. Found by Hornet sometime later while she was digging around the ancient Underworks and recommissioned them. They are a skilled warrior even able to match Second Sentinel, after much time and have been given to a certain Vessel as Guardian Companion. ------------------------------ I got obsessed with Silksong and decided I finally needed a fucking clanker of my own. Meet Gardi, Spectr's personal babysitter, and caregiver. They are absolutely no nonense and likely already sick of your shit. Possibly scrapped because they have the emotional range that matches most organic bugs, and are very set on their duties. Stern, yet gentle, somewhat irritable at babysitting. Skilled warrior too. Dear lord I am obsessed with them.

This is not only for Day 1 of ShiningInktober but also a tribute to Yoshitaka Tamaki, who was recently announced to have passed away earlier this year.

RIP Yoshitaka Tamaki. Thank you for not only being a defining part of my childhood (and still-current interest tbh) but also a defining influence on the development of my own art style.

I was shocked and incredibly hurt to have learned the news... Shining Force has always been such a huge part of my life. I still replay LoGI and SFII. It's even influenced my other hobbies; I've made DND characters inspired by Shining Force and ran a DND one-shot based on the first two battles of LoGI. My friends have never played the games but they even look at the art and they can see where I get my style from.

I hope that Tamaki-sensei's family is healing and that he is at peace.

Xi finally got a new update, which means a new robe that reflects her personality better :3 Oh and a return of her serving girl outfit for when she is working part time waitressing the Feng's party events. The character on the back of her robe is "heaven" or it can be read as "dawn" or "sky" which fits into her themes. She still wears Yi's Sol sigil as a sign of respect, and...she may be in line to become the new Sol of Innovation

Child of the Sun

Daughter of Innovation and Loyalty, a sun not yet fully risen, yet her light shines down upon all who meet within her glory. Inspired respite, and a beacon of hope that survives even the most strife-ridden times.

I wanted to do some more stain glass art outside if my last 2 attacks so I’ll be doing 2 more of these pieces, one for HK and one for CotL.

I was really inspired by the wind waker stained glass art for coloring and motifs, though I did try to keep it to Nine Sols mostly.

心の日蝕 Though they say you shine like the light of the Sun, you feel deep inside you the darkness that creeps within. Hiding..lurking... a chill that threatens to consume the very light you hold so dear... Little experiment with shadows I wanted to try out. It should be noted that after everything Xi goes through living in the Jie Palace that she has developed some serious depression and low self esteem. Her cheerful attitude and sunny disposition is her true self, but she often uses it as a mask to hide how deep her anxiety and self-loathing tends to go. Thank goodness this isn't canon Nine Sols bruh. She has a very wonderful support group.
