Honestly I love being aromantic! Because though it's so hard to filter into words, there is this nuance to this world you can feel and experience... not being able to say it out to others can be hard, buuut i'll try to explain now: Anything can be platonic, not platonic, sexual, not sexual, romantic, not romantic, a great appreciation, touchy, not touchy, kinda something or another, several things, neither, everything, it doesn't matter, it super does matter, some other secret option, AND LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE EVERRRRR!!! It's a world of colors out there, and some of those colors only shrimp can see!

You don't even need to aromantic to see these things but it's nice to be. LOVE YOU ALL!!

My dad always says that it’s normal and that he experiences the same things when I’m talking about my autism/adhd and he doesn’t think I have either because he goes through the same stuff and “he’s not autistic/doesn’t have adhd” like I hate to break it to you…

I’m pretty sure he’s nerodivergant but if I bring it up to him he’ll be like “no😡”

Recently I’ve been owning my ADHD as the mental disability that it is and I’m so much happier for it. I used to be so ashamed that I struggled to focus, that I could never be as productive as “normal people”. Now when I catch myself in those “Why can I do this?” Or “Why can’t I be normal” I cut myself off with “Because I’m literally disabled. Of course I’m not gonna be able to do things that same way a nerotypical person can, and that’s okay.”
