This is wild that this is like a 2 year difference, bro looked 13 in that first one
Anyways, FUTS Phuwin vs NLMG Phuwin is crazy
Like Pi is supposed to be older than Neung and that's really funny
Never let me go is such an amazing series. I just love it and PalmNeung are so good together.
i liked that they drew a comparison between nueng and his dad, because when nueng's dad saved somebody he went "work for me your entire life" while nueng was just like you dont have to pay it back, but if you really want to you can do it whenever you want. no onbligation, no debt.
This part here where Palm lifts his head as Neung is falling on him to kiss him? 100% intentional.
Palm definitely knew what was coming, but if that really wasn't his Neung, he might move his head away at the last second. Or he knew that realistically, the kiss would just be awkward if Neung just fell on top of him. So my guy Palm, whipped as he is, was not taking ANY chances, and said "No, I'm GONNA kiss my boyfriend" and hence why there was the little head lift to kiss him before Neung had the chance to catch himself properly.
(Or uk, Palm was just being Palm and had no thoughts, just "my boyfriend's lips are there, so I will kiss them." Still very in character in my opinion.)
Usually, this sort of scene that plays out in other romantic dramas, where the leads have an accidental kiss, can be seen as sort of cheesy or cliche. I think P'Jojo knows this, and was like "nope, not doing this today". (I mean, he did also mock the outdated "wife" trope old BLs liked to use, so it's totally possible that he switched up the cliché accidental kiss scene too)
neungdiao and chopper are truly of the same blood they have so much cheesiness in them
Can I just rant about Ben for a second?
First of all, Chopper obviously is trying to do the best with whatever situation he's been dealt right. Imagine being 16-17 years old. You are essentially still a child. You are dependent on your parent(s), like it or not for Chopper it happens to be a murderous, power hungry asshole.
He clearly doesn't like what his father does. He tries to speak out against it. He even pleads with his father not to do things like this. You could argue he could do more, but anything he does to reach out to Neung or Palm will only put them in more danger.
Now the audacity of Ben to come and tell Chopper that he is not a good person for trying to survive??? While he can't even stand up to his own father and gladly points the blame at someone else who he claimed to like!? I'm just supposed to take it?? And thennnn he proceeds to give him an ultimatum?? Really. Sir, your dad is a lot less threatening and a lot less powerful than Choppers. I need someone to think about his safety too.
And god the promo of the next episode the way Neung also doesn't trust him 🥲. Can I just wrap this boy in a blanket and keep him away from the rest of the world?? He deserves so much better.
