Nanaimoteuthis was a cirrate octopus from the Late Cretaceous of Canada and Japan. It was possibly among the largest of octopuses to ever live, with extreme estimates reaching 16m (41 ft). More conservative estimates suggest that it ranged from around 3 to 6m (6 - 21 ft). Evidence suggests that Nanaimoteuthis would’ve hunted large marine reptiles like turtles, mosasaurs, and elasmosaurs.
This design is heavily inspired by the one by Astrapionte, but that’s because their design is just how I imagine it would’ve looked like.

They refused to answer any of our questions after this event. "We're really sorry everyone"
⚠️⚠️⚠️MASSIVE FUCKING BRONZE AGE ARCHEOLOGY UPDATE: PLEASE ADVISE IMMEDIATELY⚠️⚠️⚠️
This just in: a new archeological discovery has been made in Poland dating to 2,700 years ago; roughly lining up with the late Bronze Age
the sword measures in at approximately ~60 cm in length, in the standard imperial system this comes out to about ~23 in. or roughly ~2ft.
This is a huge day for Bronze Age enthusiasts across the world, as now we have one of only a rare handful of surviving examples of Bronze Age weaponry.
I hope this artifact leads to a deeper and more profound understanding of our ancient past, their history, and their culture. Not just as things left behind in the ground, but as people who lived and died just as you and I
I thank you dearly for your time, attention, and consideration, may you have a good day and may only the best come to you in all things
