New Moon Casting to Remove Negativity

New Moon coming...a lil sumthin for ya

White light protection spell 

Before performed performing this spell, you will need to take a cleansing shower or bath if possible. In your bath you will use 3 handfuls of Epsom salt along with protective herbs that you have on hand or that like that you like to use for your own personal work.  ( hyssop, bay, plantain leaf, st. John's wort, mugwort, Rosemary) if you're not able to take a bath, take a shower and poor the saltwater/herb mix over your crown and let it run down the length of your body n shower as normal , pour over your head and let it fall down your body to cleanse your temple fully. 

When you get dressed again, sage your body n working altar space again,  spend a lil time meditating and getting into your zone. You can do this by just meditating, or you can journal or write out a petition if you like. Then begin when ready. 

Face east, which represents new beginnings and good for building power!

you will need 3 white candles in a row. Any size is fine. You may dress them if you like with the same mixture used in your bath. 

Sit in your formation or in front of your altar, visualize a circle of bright white light surrounding you, from the ground, through the roof and into the sky, encompassing your spell area and rising into the cosmos, where no one can reach. hold this  visualization for a few seconds, then relax and see the circle dissipate. 

Recite these words:

 this light of protection, I carry it strong, no ill wishes are trouble, can now come alone, you cannot harm me or weaken my soul, my life is my weapon, and peace is my goal. 

 So it is, Ase', 

Allow your candles to burn until finished 

This is a very simple n practical spell you can do often and also with others if you like. 

Afterwards, I plan to go outside and pour libations at a tree for the Ancestors hype em up a bit, their protection is needed more than ever. Or just feed them extra well on your Altar the day of the spell.

We did a lovely spell tonight in effort to lose some anxiety and other negative feelings we've been carrying, here it is if you'd like to give our version a shot. Feel free to add, take away, or change how ever you see fit. You will need a white candle, a black candle, paper and pen, incense to serve your needs, and a fire safe bowl or cauldron. Also any jewelry r stones you'd like to cleanse for this purpose. This is meant to be done during waning or new moon phases. Set up your alter/spell area. Light your candle and incense (we used a mix of cinnamon sage cedar and white willow bark). On paper write down what you'd like to release (i.e. anxiety). Light your white candle and then your black candle, roll up your issues and light them on fire while saying; "As the paper burns, my troubles turn, taken away by the flame, so that future days are not the same." Pass any jewelry or stones you'd like to use to manage anxiety or any other issues you're hoping to shake through the smoke and the flame of the black candle. Visualize what you wrote floating away with the smoke. When your visualization is done end the spell by saying "The spell is cast, may it last."
