Refurbished TUMBLR SCAM:

This is an older one being reused in a slightly different format. For a while there, they’d contact you and outright ask to buy your work as a N F.T. Now there’s a little more bullshittery involved, so keep your eye out for anyone messaging you out of the blue offering to ‘buy your art/photos/etc’. But especially empty profiles with generic photos of a random person who are brand new and not following anyone (lol)

Hey guys. I know this isn’t the thing I usually post, but I’ve been texted by a NFT „buyer“. They offered me whopping $3500 for a random doodle. To me it was very fishy, the price, the artwork they chose, etc. So I did some research online and saw that this scam is very common. They dote on artists, because they know that artists don’t know about NTFs.

I don’t wanna call out innocent people, this is why I made some reasearch. The person on the picture they use as banner is actually an artist of the name Joanna Sokolowska, and I believe that it’s not the artist who owns this account. They forgot to crop the website tag out of the picture lmao.

The scammers @ is @legendaryobjectdelusion

Here are some screenshots to prove my claim:

I suggest to block or report them if this user is dms you. If it turns out that this user is the person in the picture, and isn’t scamming artists, then I will take down this post. But until then, be wary!

I also found the artists website (the woman in the banner) Again, I don’t believe this artist Joanna Sokolowska is the scammer. I think the scammer used her picture to appear legit.

NFT fraudsters are getting more and more inventive. They used to send links to phishing NFT marketplaces. But now they use Rarible.

Hello Tumblr users. Today's post is not about my paintings or sketches.

I want to warn all Tumblr users, artists and NFT owners on Rarible. A scammer tried to scam me by sending me emails from the fake Rarible tech support [email protected], which wrote about the need to pay a commission to the given wallet address in order for the NFT purchase to be successful.

Be careful, don't fall for scammers' tricks and take care of yourself.

Even without the chat, this community proved how lovely it was. At first we all howled and wailed together, but then as we got closer to the servers shutting down, everyone stopped acting crazy and huddled up together... It shouldn't surprise me, seeing how Feral's community really was wonderful.. but geez, I got Goosebumps.

Feral as a game was truly special. I've never seen THIS level of customisation before in a game... A lot of games say "the only limit is your creativity" but for none it rang as true as for this game. I mean, name a game in which THIS can happen

Not only was the character customisation beautiful, you could also decorate your HOME with little to no limits AND dye all your items various colours to fit your AESTHETIC more!

It truly is beyond me how anyone would pay for the ugliest NFT ever when the original game had so much free customisation.

but there's nothing we can do about it now...
