I think a big context missing from the previous anon is that they grew up sharing a tiny bedroom in home where the younger one was forced to witness the older one being horrifically abused. So they developed a toxic codependency. And say things such as they share a soul and are telepathic.
They’ve spent their adult lives airing their grievances with each other in interviews so it’s all out there. The younger one believes most of the songs the older one wrote about him during Oasis are about him.
During their broken up period, at least some of their songs are self-admitted about / directed to each other - how many more actually are can be debated but there are a lot of not at all veiled references to each other in their solo work.
Bonus yes the very public kissing and groping, including the heavily photographed french kiss with that tongue snaking right up in there. The multiple questionable statements on video/audio, and the endless referential songs aside there is the one that just straight up has the lyrics “you’re my lover / I’m your brother.”
They’re also endlessly fascinating, hilarious and absolutely unhinged.
oh thats terrible thank you for the additional context other anon…..how intriguing these weird british singers have such interesting codependency on each other……..i am no different from you lot when it comes to weird codependent guys so stay strong warriors
