two of them
(protagonist and deuteragonist of my visual novel, night blind)
I have an astigmatism, am near sighted and far sighted, have a lazy eye, have strabismus(I've had it since I was little, but I just learned the name for it recently because my old eye doctor said it was just my lazy eye, so forgive if the grammar is wrong), am night blind, have poor peripheral vision and the little I can see is just smears of color, am practically blind in one eye(I can't actually see out of it at all, but my eye doctor says there's a bit of vision left), and have very little if any depth perception, but I wear glasses, so obviously I'm not visually impaired(I've genuinely been told that)/sarcasm
So I have recently been told by a few blind/low-vision folks that I should do some research about getting a white cane to use when it is dark since my night blindness is super bad. But because my vision is alright when it is light (as long as I am wearing my glasses), idk if I should? Like I don't want to act like I am blind when I am not and I wouldn't even know where to start with a white cane. Eventually Hershey (my SDiT) will be trained in some guide work but he will not be a guide dog since guiding is not his primary task. Has anyone else done this before/have any advice?
Hearing new Shook Ones just about brings a tear to my eyes<3

There are witches and vampires and werewolves and elven faeries of all kinds living with mundane humans in this world. It’s filled…
