NIKON PLAYCATION ENTRY: ‘GROGU YEARNING FOR MACARONS’ If you follow ‘The Mandalorian’ then you'll know that his young charge, Grogu, loves macarons. During our at home period, when things were at their worst because of the pandemic, my family embraced streaming services like Disney+, so that we could enjoy shows like ‘The Mandalorian’ when going to the movies wasn’t an option. My photo of Grogu yearning for blue macarons is also the basis of my review below. @nikonaustralia #nikonplaycation 'THE MANDALORIAN' SEASON 2: 9/10 🎬 SYNOPSIS & 😎 NON-SPOILER REVIEW 🎬: At the end of Season 1, 'The Mandalorian' aka 'Mando' [Pedro Pascal] is charged with ensuring that the juvenile that he has been protecting is safely handed over to another Jedi - of which there are few left - to complete its training. However, the Jedi are known enemies of the Mandalorians!! Along the way, Mando must trade tasks with both law-abiding citizens & known criminals in order to locate an elusive Jedi, Ahsoka Tano [Rosario Dawson], whom he believes is the best choice to train the child [whom he later discovers is called ‘Grogu’]. Will Mando succeed in finding a Jedi who can complete Grogu’s training. 😎: Pedro Pascal continues to perfectly execute the lone ruthless warrior from Season 1, but now being in charge of the child has changed his perspective on what is important. Crossing paths with other Mandalorians including the infamous Boba Fett [Temuera Morrison] & heir-apparent to the Mandalorian Empire, Bo-Katan Kryze [Katee Sackhoff], Mando must call upon old friends & utilise the services of former foes while avoiding Moff Gideon [Giancarlo Esposito], the Imperial Security Bureau officer [obsessed with experimenting on Grogu] who also yields the ‘Darksaber,’ a prized weapon stolen from the original Mandalorian Empire. The visuals are stunning but take 2nd place to a cleverly constructed script with well-executed & complicated yet flawed characters. ‘The Mandalorian’ is far superior to any of the movies in the trilogy of trilogies & the ending of Season 2 is unbelievable. There is no better time to start watching the series than now on Disney+. ©️ https://www.instagram.com/p/CKbbRpPFEOv/?igshid=b4zf28s8lqy9
