Climb 22, my favourite climb of the year so far 🐒 Every month @theclimbingunit set a competition route of 30 climbs using black holds. Starting at 1 as the numbers ascend each climb gets harder and I always aim to see how high up I can go. I give myself “3 lives”, not 3 failed attempts I mean 3 climbs I simply can’t finish. I got up to 19 smooth, then I couldn’t do 20 or 21, onto climb 22. Part 2 of 2.....Twinkle the Mermaid taking on the brand new, and surprisingly difficult rope dismount to Tic Toc I knew I hit the rope too high once I jumped and couldn't land. How I held onto that landing in the end I've NO idea! Then came Tic Toc.....this was pure luck. We'd seen so many great athletes fall in, and some shock surprises when the ones you least expect managed to pass it! My body didn't catch up to how I wanted to land it. I did tell Rochelle in my course-side interview that I think I'd jinxed it turning up as a mermaid! Also enjoying @benshephardofficial and Kammy's hilarious commentary. My second time on #ninjawarriorUK, and I was shaking like a leaf. I did the splits at the start of my run, and pulled my leg a bit, and I was a bag of nerves having seen so many people fall in that day already, plus my Mum, Nan and cousin walking by the side, and a bunch of supporters in the audience (hence the cautious approach!) Gutted my run wasn't shown this year, as I had some amazing interviews before and after with the lovely Rochelle Humes, mostly about my unique ninja tattoo! Always an honour to be part of massive show, not just once, but twice now. My second time on #ninjawarriorUK, and I was shaking like a leaf. Guess what's coming? Saturday 28th April, ITV, 6.30pm, @ninjawarrioruk Episode 3 (I'm always on episode 3!) On Series 3, dressed as a #Gladiator, I made it all the way to #TheWarpedWall, one of only 3 women in my heat and none of us could scale the beat. It was such an amazing experience, I got the logo tattooed on my ankle! Series 4, and I'm back, after being tormented by visions of the wall every since..... What's going to happen? How far can I go? Dressed as a mermaid, have I made a mistake and fall, or will I fly through and beat my nemesis? Arrived at the hotel with Mum, Nan and Maddi in preparation for #ninjawarrioruk tomorrow...funny how history repeats itself and I'm yet again taped up! I woke up Friday thinking I'd slept funny and couldn't move my neck right. It dawned on me at the weekend that is spent days hunched over sewing to make a wedding dress and my decorative wreaths....it's now Tuesday and it still aches!
