about his design, i honestly didn't mind it too much. it was just a little basic and i wanted to add more flavor

about the major design changes, i made part of his hair black rather than white just because i feel like a lot of the characters in tetro blue already have light hair. not that big of a deal but it was just my personal gripe, and his hairline needed an overhaul anyway

about his backstory. it was okay until i got to the part about his diabetes. the way it was utilized genuinely gave me so much whiplash and was so fucked up I FORGOT TO INCLUDE IT IN HIS BACKSTORY.

about his role in the story. i honestly don't really mind him being the chapter 4 killer, but for my own version i would probably have him be the victim and ruka be the culprit. i just think ruka as a culprit would be very interesting

for chapter 2, i change up the bleeding motive a bit. the initial bleeding are now ninomiya, ogura, and nishiguchi, but due to their constant squabbling monomoko decides to add ruka, matthias, and kumada. ogura excludes matthias from the bleeding and does her best to make sure he doesn't know about the motive. instead of nishiguchi being the target, isoda is the new target of the bleeding and the chapter 2 victim, due to isolating themselves and being seen as an easy target. ninomiya's role in this would probably be luring isoda into practicing their instruments, with isoda's guitar being essentially booby-trapped. oddly their plan doesn't kill isoda, and ninomiya fails to catch them alone for the rest of the day. oddly enough the next day they're found murdered in their room. wonder how that happened?

ninomiya's full backstory:

Youhei Ninomiya was an only child, and his parents weren't around much. His father was a politician and his mother was a diplomat, so both of them were often out of the house or overseas. When they were around, they were always critical of Youhei, with attempts to force him into a box and make him look and act picture perfect. They even forced him to participate in several extracurriculars, including violin. Overall, they were strict and controlling. Lucky for Youhei, however, when your parents aren't around, they can't really enforce anything. He grew up to be rebellious, dying his hair and buying clothes in the brightest colors possible to separate himself from his parents. After a while, his parents got sick of the behavior, and sent him to live with his cousins when he was 14. They had unintentionally reinstated him with people just like him, which only fueled his rebellion. After some time away, Youhei realized he actually liked the violin, but preferred playing alternative music. So, he decided to devote a large portion of his day to writing alternative songs for the violin to prove that it and other instruments didn't have to be tied to one genre.

ok first of all i wana share this von tweet regarding Ninomiya cuz i think its interesting , i'm pretty sure this confirms Okazaki was pretty toxic during her relationship with Ninomiya and also we get confirmation that Ninomiya wasn't 17 during his stay with Okazaki (which honestly was pretty obvious) but I find it pretty interesting because

so i'm not an expert regarding this but i don't think its normal for a 15-16 year old to have several one-off sexual partners , even tho aparently the age of consent in japan is 16 acording to google , idk man i just think its worrying and i haven't seen anyone talk abaut this
