I thought for a long time about what I wanted. And then I suddenly remembered @yellowring00 's message. So here's a bit of Chris and Max.
Max/Chris 1k Abo
The door closed with a soft click, along with the dull thud of a falling bag. The footsteps were heavy, carrying a weight that was too heavy for an ordinary day. Max kicked off his shoes and tossed his backpack onto the nearest chair.
Chris smiled to himself, already hearing Max groaning and shuffling his feet. A baseball cap covered his face, while his arms hung limply at his sides. It seemed that the word 'suffering' was engraved on every part of his body. When the hunched figure appeared in the doorway, Chris couldn't hold back a muffled laugh.
"They're ruthless vampires, they sucked all my blood out with those interviews," Max walked around the bed and dove into it, like a lizard burying itself in the sand. His head immediately went under the blanket, while his back found tactile support in the edge of the nest. A heavy, tormented groan escaped as he rested his head on Chris's stomach, which was trembling with laughter.
"They looked devastated by what happened," his hand ran through the light blonde hair, his fingers moving over the scalp, gently massaging. In response, a quiet, muffled purr was heard. "It seemed like everyone there was rooting for you."
"Were you?" Max moved the blanket aside, allowing himself to look at the German.
"Of course," a smile blossomed on his lips; his hand slowly moved lower, settling on Max's neck. His thumb gently pried at the edge of a camouflaged patch, pulling it off with a quiet sigh and setting it aside. His palm softly circled, soothing the irritated gland. "I need you to gain experience for our rematch, after all."
Max beamed, turning towards the man and climbing onto him more. His skin, cool from the outdoor air, met Chris's, heated and warmed by their nest. A flutter grew in his chest as his own scent spread around them, intertwining with the clean scent of moss and linden.
Not wanting to move, Max raised his hand and quickly touched Chris's thigh, scratching lightly. Sometimes Chris began to understand why Max was compared to a cat, especially now, as he lay and warmed himself on his stomach, still deciding exactly how they would lie. He obeyed, bending his knee and letting the gland near his groin intensify the scent. The slightly stronger vibration in response under his palm was a soft thank you.
"How are you?" Chris ran his fingers through Max's hair, occasionally moving to his neck, continuing to massage the muscles and the slowly calming gland.
"The car was wonderful," he closed his eyes, indulging in the memories. The feeling of power under his hands and at the same time obedience, control. Something that finally allowed him to be himself and not think about the battery, about just trying to finish. "I could drive it for all 24 hours."
"GT3 cars are true art," Chris let Max shift the focus, not objecting if he didn't want to talk. His thumb slowly traced Max's cheekbone, where the marks from the balaclava had almost faded; Chris's hadn't even appeared. "When I first drove one on the Nordschleife, I realized that this was what I would live for."
His eyes opened softly, and the pure blue, no longer as dim as when he had first returned, shone in the reflection of the sun. The Dutchman's pale hand rose to find the other's palm and interlace their fingers. Both calloused from the steering wheel, yet soft in their contact. Chris squeezed them in return, pulling them to his face and softly pressing his lips to Max's knuckles.
"I hope that next time we can properly battle," Max didn't mention what had happened; it seemed like it would become something too much to say out loud. But they both knew what he meant. Both understood how bitter it had all been.
"Yes," Chris left several kisses on his knuckles, continuing to look sincerely at the omega. "The Green Hell chooses its own winner. But sometimes it doesn't even give you a chance."
"Or takes it away at the last moment," he didn't look angry; rather, tired and upset, but in a way that made it clear the inner fire was still burning undimmed.
"I can understand it," Chris bit his fingers lightly, making Max roll his eyes. "I would have stopped you too, to make you come back."
"As if you wouldn't have done it just because," Max bared his teeth, showing his small fangs. "You would have chased me until you overtook me."
"Of course, and it still wouldn't be the way you do it," Chris lowered his wrist, giving Max access to the gland on it. "Chasing me so closely that I could feel your breath through the car."
"You like that," his nose ran along Chris's forearm, coating himself with the scent in a thin layer, drawing a heavy, satisfied sound from the German. "I'm surprised you haven't hung a picture from that day at your place."
"Who knows, you haven't been to my place in a while," a trail of goosebumps ran down his body as a quick tongue ran along his forearm, where the scent was strongest.
"Mmm, yes. At the next race I'll stop by, if Formula One isn't too close."
Chris didn't realize it at first, but gradually stopped, absorbing the words. He slowly lifted his head, carefully examining Max's calm face. Max, feeling the change, met his gaze, looking at him expectantly, slowly raising an eyebrow.
"You'll come back?"
"Yes, I will," Max smirked, relaxing again.
"I…" Chris looked away, carefully choosing his words. "I thought you wouldn't be thrilled, after the Green Hell didn't let you win."
"It asked me to come back," Max smirked, snorting. "Who am I to argue? It let me feel myself, get close to victory."
Im sorry BUT WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? like this crappy season starting then NLS5 then NLS2 AND NOW WITH NLS24H??😭do i need to find some kind of witch to put a FUCKING SPELL or what man😵
Congratulations to crew #80, it was a worthy race. Thank you to Dani and the team for managing to make it to the finish. We'll wait for next year and believe that everything will be better
I love that during discussions about Max, Daniel and Jules agree that Max is a Maxipedia. We already knew that, of course, but it's still extremely funny.
