Ngl I feel like when c!Dream breaks out he's going to take one of c!Sam's canon lives, as I'm pretty sure Sam has 3 lives to spare, and Dream taking one of them would be the most likely way for Sam to face consequences for his cruelty.

And this isn't even getting into c!Quackity, who I've seen some confusion over whether he has 1 or 2 lives left. If he only has 1 life then I doubt c!Dream will do anything to him unless they have a way to bring him back storywise, but if he has 2 lives then. Well. Let's just say I have a bad feeling when Dream breaks out.

Nonetheless, even as a c!Dream fan, I don't think I would be happy with him killing Sam or Quackity. Like yes, storywise it makes tons of sense and is a likely path for the writers to take, but morality-wise it's just Dream continuing the cycle of violence and revenge and probably getting villainized for it once again, and no one is going to happy. It's poetic cinema, but sad. It's a tragedy.

Yeah, it wouldn’t feel satisfying to watch I think, just soulcruchingly sad and tragic because it’s just a wheel that keeps on turning and with his guardian figure and the currently only practicing “therapist” on the server having already given up on him there’s such a slim chance of dream doing anything Other than lashing out and looking for the same revenge as jack is

And once again he’ll be seen as the villain even after all that abuse

This is why I want syndicate dream to be real, I trust them to help him and let him heal, I trust Nikki who started baking again to show healthy coping mechanisms and techno to stop dream from doing anything stupid involving violence, I trust Phil.

Dream feels like a scared and cornered animal right now, well he has felt like that for a while, but now more than ever
