will’s epilogue boyfriend will never know what will’s gone through. he won’t know about the upside down, and even if he did he wouldn’t know how much will suffered. he wasn’t there to care for him. he didn’t go frantically searching for him when he went missing. he didn’t jump off of a cliff if it meant he would be with will. he’ll never go crazy together with will. he didn’t spend the entire night in an uncomfortable hospital chair when will was possessed. he didn’t go biking out in the pouring rain after they fought. he didn’t make will feel like he wasn’t a mistake. like he was better for being different. not like mike did. he’ll never be will’s first friend. and it won’t be the best thing he’s ever done. he won’t ever be the first one to empower will and believe in his powers. he’ll never obsess and be all nerdy about his powers. he’ll never even know about his powers. his and will’s relationship will never be as strong and as powerful as mike’s. his and will’s relationship will never be the same as will and mike’s. that is not what will wanted. will wanted someone who DID do all of those things and probably WILL do that all over again. just for will. just like mike.
