this was the aftermaths of going on a nature walk in woods with basically no trail and loads of thorns everywhere but it was fun and totally worth it.

My first multi-day trek in a vast landscape without a trial to follow - just a map and compass for the next 30 miles. Its a totally different way to experience wilderness than following a blazed trail. I had never been so engaged with my surroundings.
