I know I messed up. I counted how long she ignored me, 28 hours. It may be only over one day, but it felt like eternity. It was lunch time, but I wasn’t hungry like the past few hours. My appetite was just gone.

I walked towards the coffee automat, needing some caffein after the sleepless night. The only thing that has been haunting me for the past 28 hours was the look she gave me.

 A betrayed one…

 We had a new exchange student her name was Elly she would only stay for a month before leaving school. I was supposed to show her around, make her comfortable not making her attached…too late for that now. That bitch was basically following me around everywhere like a lost fucking puppy that I want to kick.

The thoughts just kept flowing, making my head feel heavy. I snapped out of my thoughts when the coffee was done. I grabbed the cup with unnecessary force taking a long sip. The weather was sunny too sunny. It was so hot that training felt like torture. The dress code wasn’t making it better.

I leaned on the windowsill it was a bit dirty. The view was beautiful, birds were chirping, the wind feeling amazing after all those heat waves.

Halfway through my coffee I felt someone enter the room. Curiously I glanced at who it was.

My hands twitched at my side I was so close about to strangle her. I walked out needing some fresh air. That was when I got a glimpse of her. Nobara looked pissed at Itadori for some reason. Megumi tried to calm her down but that seemed to make her more furious if that was even possible.

I felt a large hand on my back. Yaga. “I need to talk really quick” He gently grabbed my wrist and lead me inside.

“Look there is going to be a welcoming party for Elly we know she’s just going to stay for a month, but we need her to feel comfortable around everyone, and I have a feeling she’s pretty close to you so would you mind accompanying her a little more”

The party was loud. Too loud for my liking. All first and second years were there, some random teenagers too maybe her friends? That girl was basically glued to my side, like gum in hair. These drinks tasted so cheap and disgusting, who drinks something like that without spitting it out?

The lights were dim, the air smelling like sweat and alcohol. I was wondering where Nobara was, I already saw Yuji surprisingly Megumi too, but Nobara was nowhere to be seen.

I felt someone’s hands on my waist. I turned around just to see Elly. What the hell. “Do you need something?” I should seriously stop acting so nice around shitty people like her.

“I dwonte kniowe” and she’s drunk too great. I tried to gently swat away her hands, but who knew she had a grip of steel. As I started to get frustrated Nobara entered the room, her eyes darkening instantly as she saw me with Elly. I pushed her away with force because that bitch wouldn’t bug.

I started speed walking towards Nobara trying my best not to fall in my heels. She tried to avoid me as I was getting closer. I really fucked up. The weird party music started to fade in my ears, everyone else blurring, the only person I saw was Nobara.

 Just as I thought I was getting closer everyone started to dance again weirdos. Where is she? Feeling hopeless I walked towards the exit, just wanting some fresh air instead of smelling cheap alcohol and intense perfumes. My nostrils feel like they are on fire. The fresh air hit my face, why was everything reminding me of how I messed up?

Leaning against the door, drenched in thoughts when someone suddenly opened the door forcefully. Nobara. “If you leave now, it will make things better but don’t think I forgive you yet” she said already waking past me, her heels clicking on the street.

I tried to keep up with her even when my heels caused me a lot of pain. She was fast even with heels. I didn’t care about anything, I took my heels off and started running towards her, my feet started to bleed a little, but I didn’t give a shit.

She was already in her dorm room taking off her jewelry her eyes still looked distant…

I closed the door behind me throwing my heels on the floor.
