Lads headcanons!

🚬 Sylus is a smoker. Not heavy, but when he's anxious or drinking

☀️ Raf tans easily despite the sunscreen (coral safe)

🚂 Zayne's autistic 100%. No overachiever that skipped grades, and hyper focused on one subject to study his entire childhood well into adulthood, is allistic (he reads reasearch studies for fun[work])

🎼 Xav knows how to play many different instruments. Hes not great at any specific one. Kinda like a jack of all trades of instruments. (What? He got bored after the first century here)

🎉 Xav's fav decade of slang and music is 00'-10' (LMFAO and Skrillex). This man responded to me with "Woot" once and i had flashbacks (he used "RAWR XD ROFL" as a joke once and MC didnt know what was happening)

🤬 Raf swears like a sailor (ha). Caleb is military coded. That man probably has the worst mouth. Honestly Zayne swears often too (also military/combat medic). I think Xav would swear sometimes (angry), and tbh i dont think Sylus would swear much, if at all. 

🔮 Raf has a knack for reading tarot. Its not a hobby for him. But MC convinces him to let her read his tarot one night and he decides to read one for her in return (small guidebook in hand) mc was taken aback with how accurate the reading was for her. 

👁 Zayne gets deja vu often. He cant act on it. He simply just watches it unfold. Hell pause a moment. Looking lost in thought, before he refocuses on whatever task he was working on

🤞 Xav is a compulsive liar. Hes been around for centuries. The less people who know about him the better. Cant let anyone get too close

MC speaks like Caleb

And no one can tell me otherwise

They've grown up together since they were kids. Caleb is NOT the only one with that accent and speech pattern.

Bloomshore district has kept to its old way. Almost like it was frozen in time for decades. It feels like an old town out in the country where most residents are older but farmhand like folks. They tend to their gardens, feed their chickens, and maybe operate a farm or ranch.

Growin' up in Bloomshore, kids naturally pick up the accent they hear daily. Caleb picked it up immediately, not wantin' to be just a new kid, so he would hang out with the other children and slowly learnt it from them.

MC didn't pick up on it as fast. She was younger, shyer, and clung to Grandma. She got along with the other kids in school, but she wasn't out until sundown with them unlike Caleb.

Slowly, oh so slowly, she would start cuttin' off her 'g'. Then came the glottal stop. Who has time to pronounce the 't' in the middle of a word? MounTAIN? No, moun'ain. AparTMENT? Nah, apar'ment.

By high school, both of 'em had an accent. Talkin' like the rest of the kids, except the third member of their trio, Zayne.

Zayne didn't have an accent. Very neutral despite his upbringing in the country town. But his parents are well traveled doctors, so it was inevitable he never picked it up.

(He tried to talk like Caleb and MC but it just didn't sound right)

After graduation, everyone went their separate ways. Medical school, DAA, and college.

MC moving to Linkon had her reigning her speech in. She didn't want to stand out unless it was for her steller academic performance. The only time her accent would come back is when returning home to visit Grandma and see Caleb.

Caleb's accent also lessened when living in Skyhaven. But it was still there and came out full force visiting his Pipsqueak and Grandma.

Sometimes, MCs accent will slip around Zayne. The familiarity and comfort making her switch to her old ways of speaking. He doesn't mind though. It brings him back to simpler, happier days of their childhood.

Anyway, thanks for reading my rambles. I love how caleb speaks. It's so casual and familiar. Not to mention his VA is A++++

Ive been wanting to read a cheesy c-drama fic for lads but I couldn't figure out how id want to do the trope, but I had an epiphany while watching my Zayne 5 stars.

So hes 14 going to college. Lonely kid, but the elder kids look out for him. Imagine, a young freshman, 4 years his senior, but both coming into the med school a little scared but excited. She sees this kid and decides to take him under her wing to power through together.

He eventually calls her Jie Jie and slowly he falls for her. Becoming his white moonlight. They graduate together, but into different fields and she ends up going abroad.

Then he meets you, and things hit off really well until years later his white moonlight comes back
