The fact that DC never brought back Nocturna Post-Crisis (shut up about New 52 Batwoman I don’t care that isn’t her) drives me so insane because Jason’s Post-Crisis origin would’ve made their mother/son dynamic work EVEN BETTER. Now they were BOTH poor street kids who were taken in and given access to luxury by an unethical rich man. The parallels are SO STRONG. But no, Jason doesn’t get to have complex relationships with anyone other than Bruce, and no one can be bothered to remember that Nocturna even exists

Apparently he's not publicly Bruce's ward, even though Bruce's a public figure and has been seen with him going to the movies.

The fact that Jason's considering going to live in the circus again with this soul eater, proto-pennywise of a being should make Bruce rethink his parenting decisions.

That's Natasha aka Nocturna, she and a guy named Anton (idc about him, she's cooler) stole from the guests in the party. Jason is still trying to prove himself and Bruce's has the emotional inteligence of a door, so he doesn't see that what Jason needs is to know that he has a place on his life WITHOUT having to give something in return, that he doesn't need to be Robin or the perfect ward to be loved.

My poor baby, Bruce, stop flirting with the pseudo-vampire villain and give him attention.

He's running from home. Honestly, this was such a dramatic issue.
