Hi! I just found your blog and i really love your headcannons! I was wondering if you could write one about the Pevensies parents and how they reacted to each child acting more adult like?

Would definitely fake cry and pretend to faint when he sees his child pay for something with their own money

Jokes aside, he’s definitely very very proud of seeing his children grow up

At first, she thought it was a “rebellious” or “emo” phase

But no, when she realized her child genuinely matured she was the happiest mother in the entire world

Definitely the type of mom that slowly allows their kid to be let in on the important adult stuff in the family

That’s how much respect and trust that Susan has in her kid

She’s right to have that amount of trust though; the kid is literally a mini Susan

Not that he isn’t invested in his child but, he wouldn’t be the type to make such a big fuss about this kind of stuff

Would joke with his partner about making their child help with the taxes, though

He’d definitely be there to guide his kid and help them when they ask

Hey what advice would you give people who are trying to learn arabic?

Well I’m not a teacher, so I may not be suitable for this, but I personally think pronouncing every single letter correctly is an important first step, it may sounds obvious but a lot of none-native Arabic speakers take that for granted and they end up mispronouncing ¼ of the letters (I can understand one or two letters, but come on, a quarter of the alphabets? Really?)

You will have a lot of words that basically means the same thing, so you need to learn what words are more commonly used than others and stick to them.

Decide if you’re gonna learn Standard Arabic or a dialect of Arabic or both at the same time (but don’t mash them up, it’s not cute)

Also from what I saw, I think a lot of learners should learn that the language is very complex (and I believe made by people who have a lot of free time) so not because you learned how to say a sentence in Arabic, that doesn’t mean you can use it in every situation, your gender, the gender of the person you’re talking to, your age, their age, the number of people you’re talking to, the time of the day, the time of the year, your intentions while talking, the color of the shirt you’re wearing (okay maybe not that) well all change the vocabulary and grammar of the said sentence you learned, so if you learned how to say something in Arabic, you need to relearn it 10 times depending on the circumstances.

Hi bee! Its me again! I was rereading your unforgiven series and i just had a random thought. What if damian accidentally calls tim dad in front of bruce. Like, maybe tim is fighting bruce or dick and damian just screams out "dad! Stop!" And bruce's heart just BREAKS and tim actually stops

haha well, I think something similar kind of happened in the one where Damian invited Dick to the loft, but yeah, Bruce and Dick would just be shell shocked and even Tim would just be...so warm? Like yes he knew HE loved this kid and knew the kid appreciated his help and care in this time but...to call him his father holy shit. That means the affection is BOTH WAYS. And it makes him so happy he kind tears up/cries?

But then that also makes him even angrier at Bruce and Dick because THEY HAD THIS LOVE and they LET IT GO. And how could they do that? how could they willingly betray this kind of love and care and affection? What kind of goddamn monsters were they?

How would the phantom react to a very affectionate s/o ? I hope you're having a good week!

For his entire life, this poor man has yearned for a simple touch, for a hug, for a kiss to have now and a kiss to save for later because it’s his birthday. This man has only ever been taught that being touched by a fellow human being hurts. It brings him nothing but pain so he’s learnt to shy away from contact with other people. It’s never stopped him wanting it, though. Even accidental touches make his day and he focuses on it for days, sometimes weeks depending on how long the contact was. 

An affectionate s/o would probably trip him out in the early days and it would take literal years for him to get used to it and learn to reciprocate it. In the first few weeks and months, even a hand on his shoulder would make him jump up and yell at you for mocking him, for taunting him with something that you can have whenever you want but he’s never been allowed, in all his years. 

His s/o would have to be very patient and be more affectionate in little bits. More casual touches, more hands on his shoulders but not when he’s composing, more pecks on his face, but do not touch his mask, ever, or he’ll go right back to square one and you’ll very likely never, ever be the same again with him. He’d shut himself right off from you and tbh you’d be lucky if he didn’t harm you there and then, intentionally or not.

But gradually, with more touches and little to no fuss made about it, there would be a night where you hug the Phantom and instead of him standing there stockstill until you go to pull away before his arms come around you slowly, holding you in a loose hug, you would hug him as you always do and expect nothing in return, this time you hug him and he drops. 

He sinks to his knees, sobbing, and all you can do for him in that moment is to hold him. He’s crying for the little boy who just wanted a kiss on the cheek from his mum on his birthday all those years ago, he cries for the yong adolescent boy who thought he was a monster and was destined to be unloved and remain that way, he cries for the lost young adult who was alone in the world, and finally, he cries for you. For you, who’ve tied yourself down to someone like him, you’re so fair and he’s so... Abhorrent.  

Months and years pass and he comes to accept that affection is his now. One night, he clambered into your bed and laid there. You crept over to him and rested your head oveer his chest and his arm came around you easily. He stilled, expecting to be told off, but you merely snuggled in closer and that was his turning point. He became freer with affection and receiving it in that moment.

One thing’s for sure: He always melts under your touch, even before he’s used to it. He loves you and you love him, and that in itself is the greatest gift you could have ever given him.

Hi! I just read your "son of batman" fic and i absolutely loved it! I was wondering if you had plans to still write trans damian?

Every Damian I write is trans, whether I state it explicitly or not, for starters. :D :D

Secondly, if you mean in terms of fics about Damian being trans, then no. I think the “Son of Batman” was a nice tie-up for stories about his being trans and I probably won’t write much more than a ficlet or so on the stuff. If you mean in terms of fics where Damian is explicitly said to be trans and does stuff outside that, then yes!

I am currently in the process of writing a DukeDami fic (which I totally get, if that’s not your thing, don’t feel like you gotta read it just cause Dami’s trans). It exists within an AU where a) Damian is three years older and thereby matching Duke at 16, b) he wasn’t dropped into the Batfam until he was 13 years old so still some tension-y stuff going on because angst is always good, c) the Robin war thing never happened so Duke isn’t in the Batfam and d) Duke and Damian have been sly smooching on the side ever since Damian crash landed as Robin off the roof and onto Duke’s fire escape. Stuff ensues when Damian comes clean about his identity, Duke starts dating him for realsies and Bruce finds out. 

I’m hopeful for the fic to be completed by the end of August and I have been posting wips about it, if you’re at all curious.

If that’s not your thing, (which, like I said, I totally get) then I do have other fics where Damian is trans. The prequel to the “Son of Batman”, a flirty DickDami ficlet and Dick and Damian’s Day of Fun, which is a trade fic I wrote for a friend. (It’s not DickDami btw, she doesn’t ship that :P)

Anyway! I have so many headcanons for the batfam, friend. The first one that comes to mind though is that Damian hoards so many strays because of his past in the League. Either he was told from the start that pets weren’t allowed and followed those rules…or he brought back a stray and it was killed because attachments are forbidden in the League. :))) If it was the latter, it probably happened shortly before he found Goliath!
