Saw a post saying lesboys are never men and that that's "harmful misinformation". The post supported the nmlnm definition of lesbianism. It did mention multigender people, but it only "men or masc aligned" multigender people and there was no mention of multigender people that are men and are women.

Lesboys are never men is kind of a wild take considered the word boys is part of the word. I take it by how you worded the ask that the mention of men/masc multigender people was a 'these people are men so they're not allowed to be lesbians', since you said there was no mention of multigender manwomen and therefore, yk, breaking the whole argument. Anyway, we support the definition of lesbianism as 'queer attraction to women', up to the individuals to define what queer attraction is. Itll always be more inclusive than non man loving non man, both because of the inclusion of non binary people who are also male aligned or men, and because of the history of racism behind the nmlnm definition.

Also, I am so fucking tired of people saying non binary people are nonmen. Like, inherently being non binary makes you not a man. That's absolute erasure of a huge part of non binary people and identities and it really pisses me off. So yeah, I get you anon

Am I the only butch who feels like the expectation of what a butch looks like/wants to look like doesn’t align with them?

Often times butches are portrayed as the mechanic type— no hate to those butches of course, you rock!! But I wish I saw more people talking about whimsical butches. Butches who are very maximalist in their style of dress. Butches who like to twist the idea that society has of masculinity by wearing ‘feminine’ clothes, lipstick, and jewelry.

Again, no hate to any butches who don’t feel this way, the way you present yourself is valid, but I still can’t help but feel a bit isolated.
