A lot of the time it feels like we are bad cuz some of use get really uncomfortable and kinda mad that fictives/factive exist? Especially popular ones.

We are aware that this isnt something anyone can control, lest of all the new person/creature that just formed or has been here for a decade or more.

But it would be really nice to see some discourse on what it is like to have non introject alters/parts. For us, it has always been this way. Sure, many of us are inspired by media and many literary tropes growning up. But not 'true' introjects. So it is really hard for us to understand.

But that shouldn't make us uncomfortable? Maybe it does in the sense that it is a reminder thst even in fringe groups that once again we are still 'too unique' to fit in. This insecurity obviously leaks out and others sense it. Cuz let's be honest, it turns people away rather then sitting down and asking why someone feels this rejection or uncomfortableness so strongly. I guess you can say it is a trigger for us?

Hey. We’re a system, probably OSDD, possibly DID, looking to connect with other systems who aren’t interject- or fictive-heavy.

Most of our system is internally formed. We didn’t get parts from media or real people. We were shaped through trauma, dissociation, symbolic stuff, emotional states, and inner world-building. We consumed a lot of media growing up, Warrior Cats, Percy Jackson, MLP, etc. but we never really formed interjects or fictives. We had a ton of OCs and made up our own stories instead. A few of us might be inspired by mythology, animals, or aesthetics, but no one identifies as a source. That just wasn’t how we formed.

We're also autistic. And yeah, we know that a lot of autistic systems are fictive-heavy, which is totally valid, but we’ve noticed we tend to keep a really strong separation between ourselves and characters/media. Our system is fragmented. Messy. Attachment styles vary depending on who’s out. Some of us overwork, some shut down, some melt. None of us really want full fusion. We’re more focused on getting better at coping, being functional, and not imploding.

We don’t vibe with overly aesthetic, roleplay-ish, or fandom-heavy system spaces. We’re looking for people with weird symbolic parts, trauma-born systems, folks who made their own mythos instead of borrowing one. If that’s you, feel free to reach out or reblog. It’s kinda lonely being this type of system. Would be cool to find others who get it.

We’re a small system, likely OSDD-1b, but still figuring it out. We don’t have introjects, and sometimes that makes us feel… odd. Like we missed something. Like we’re not speaking the same language as the rest of the community. We see a lot of systems with clear sources, fast roles, matching profile icons, and confident terminology. And then there’s us, blurry, symbolic animal-coded, dream-coded. Not better. Just… different.

We grew up with 2000 to 2013 media: Warrior Cats, MLP, Spirit, Lion King, Percy Jackson, Danny Phantom, Steven Universe and a SHIT TON of anime. We read a lot. Drew even more. Wrote our own characters, not inspired by anything in particular, but definitely shaped by what made us feel. We didn’t escape into fiction. We soaked it in. Not as an identity, but as a feeling. Songs. Playlists. Cat videos. AMVs. Music that made our chest ache. Camping trips. Long quiet rides. Zoos. Museums. The aquarium. Everything was a sensory memory, and we held onto all of it.

We didn’t know we were plural. But it was too much to carry alone. So our parts formed. Not from characters, but from roles no one else filled. Not exact inspirations, but emotional echoes.

Ciel is soft like a rabbit in a picture book.

Salem burns like an anime battle cry.

Aeris is pink and sharp like every girl protagonist who survives by being a little tsundere.

Sometimes we feel whimsical. Old. Not like other systems. But that doesn’t make us less real. Just a little… well out of place and honestly, unrelatable. We're not sure where we fit. But we're here anyway.
