Foxtails

All four members of Foxtails (Blue Luno Solaz, June Benham, Michael Larocca, and Jared Schmidt) are nonbinary and use they/them pronouns! They are from Monroe, Connecticut!

Their music can be considered: screamo, post-hardcore, math rock, with blends of free jazz, folk, and Latin influences.

For their Violeta album in 2023, 100% of proceeds went towards Trans Lifeline!

One of my favorite queer singers is ZAND an nonbinary quote “ugly pop” singer

They have songs about sex work (Slut Money) and one of them embracing being loud and inappropriate (Inappropriate)

My current favorite is Religion, just a very nblw/wlw song using religion as way to describe it (calling their partner an Angel) it has elements of metal and pop

i found this fantastic poem on @poetryforplebs and uhhhhhhh i HAD to write a song for it, i got such huge folk music vibes. this would sound better with a piano or a guitar but i don’t have access to either in my college dorm so take the ukulele. anyway thank u stell for writing this fantastic poem!
