Whats the difference of being otherkin and alterhuman?/gen

Otherkin is a form of alterhuman. Alterhuman/alterbeing is an umbrella term, it encompasses otherkind, otherkith, otherhearted, therianthropy, phytanthropy, otherlinking, synpath, etc.

In simple words (main distinctions): otherkin is something you are or identify as, typically in an involuntary way, otherlink is being something voluntarily, otherhearted is being connected with something (some also define it as identifying with). Some use nonkin alterhuman terms as synonymous (in their intrapersonal experiences) but others may use them seing nuances.

They are usually used in an immanent or immaterial way (such as spiritually, psychically, virtudinally, etc.).

Although we have kin in our username, we also reblog other non-kin alterhuman-related flags.
