BIOGRAPHY —
WHERE WE BEGAN → You had a rough childhood, you knew that from the parts you could remember, and the parts that you didn’t you couldn’t help but wonder if your subconscious was protecting you. You didn’t have the whole story but just bits and pieces you decided it was best to not put together. What you did know was that your parents passed away when you were young, barely able to remember being left in muggle foster care. You bounced from place to place, unable to feel like you truly belonged anywhere. It was the classic behavior that one would expect from a child alone in the world. And even if you wanted to feel like you belonged it was like something was standing in your way to keep you from getting too comfortable. Most of the families were blurred, faces you could barely remember until you turned nine and then entered in the family who you hadn’t expected to find you. The mum with warm hugs who tucked you in at night, the dad who wanted to share moments in the garage with you, the older sister who didn’t resent you for coming into her home. It was the first place you felt at home but like all good things in your life it didn’t last. You were six months into your stay when weird things started happening. Doors would slam, things on top shelves would fall to the ground, but the breaking point for them was when you gotten upset over something so trivial that you couldn’t remember and the mirror on the wall had shattered. The daughter had been too close and shards were lodged in her arm. Someone from foster care picked you up that night and you gave up hope of ever finding a family. It was a lonely year and a half where you didn’t try to make friends for fear that you would hurt them. You’d been classified as a danger risk and that meant families didn’t want to even see you. But that fateful night when the man in the long cloak came knocking changed your whole outlook on life. He spoke of magic and how you could learn to control the things that made you dangerous or he could take them away. Hesitation etched your features but ultimately you choose to go to this school he spoke of. Anywhere had to be better than here. Or so you hoped--perhaps there you’d be welcomed, perhaps there you wouldn’t be looked at like a freak. DURING SCHOOL → Little did you know that you’d still get the looks of being a freak because you were what people here called a “muggleborn” which meant you were the bottom of your class. Their were others like you but only so many had made the choice to leave their lives behind and the ones who did were more or less like you. They had nothing in their previous life and were desperate to fit in here. The purebloods were cruel and used you as a punching bag, knocking into you at anytime, shoving you down with no warning, and laughing at you as you walked by. The halfbloods were better but so much worse at the same time, they were fearful that if they made friends with the muggleborns they’d be treated just as badly so they saw the mistreatment and looked the other way. Fear dictated everything they did, it was sad. You found that you didn’t fit into this world either and because of that your nose was kept in a book learning about magic. You’d given up all hope of making friends until that night in the Astronomy Tower when one Andromeda Black entered. You’d scurried to gather your things to get out of their way when instead Andromeda asked you to stay. It started the beginning of your friendship which soon blossomed into something more. Hidden behind closed doors you two were inseparable and for the first time in a long time you felt happiness. WHERE WE ARE NOW → Graduation came with new challenges such as finding a career and you’d dreamed of working for the Prophet, writing your own articles. A laugh bellowed from the editor who’d determined that the voice of a muggleboron wasn’t welcome to write their articles but if you’d wanted a job so badly they needed a fact checker. Their message is cloudy at best and at times you find yourself disagreeing with them all together but they pay well enough and it’s as close to writing as you’ll ever get. And then there was the matter of Andromeda who was informed of their impeding marriage to one Lucius Malfoy. You hated the idea of it but the last thing you’d ever do is put the person you loved in danger, you can remember begging Andromeda to keep their nose down and live their life as they’re supposed to but that wasn’t Andromeda. The Resistance they’d begun with their cousin caught fire and soon everyone was speaking of it in whispers. It didn’t take long for someone to connect the dots and once their parents figured out what was going on they turned Andromeda over and they were forced to Azkaban where they’d died. Once again you were alone and scared but the message Andromeda had put out there was still running through the mills but it was no secret to you that you were being watched by one Bellatrix Lestrange so you did your best to keep as far away from members as possible. You wouldn’t be the reason that they failed.
CONNECTIONS —
NARCISSA MALFOY - Unsure: You know that Narcissa knew of your and Andromeda’s relationship long before anyone else did. You can’t help but wonder why they didn’t tell anyone like Bellatrix. You also know that they loved Andromeda as much as you did and perhaps hope there could be a bridge formed there. RABASTAN LESTRANGE - Likes: You like Rabastan and in someway you even trust them but you won’t drag down the Resistance. You’re almost sure that Rab is keeping them going in the shadows, there are too many eyes on you for anyone inside that cause to be associated with you. KINGSLEY RIDDLE - Informative: Kingsley comes to you when they need a story to be buried and you do your best to make sure that whatever they’re hiding never sees the eyes of anyone in the Wizarding World. Or that it’s spun in a way that makes the Ministry look good. You wouldn’t dare cross Kingsley, you know better. CONNECTIONS TED TONKS IS MENTIONED IN
