5 Witchcraft Goals that Have Nothing to do with Witchcraft
Witchcraft is a complex thing that means something a little different to each person that practices it. From green magic to the intricacies of the fae to religious and non-religious witches, we all have different goals. These things are wonderful, but being a witch is an identity and a lifestyle, so it isn’t only your next spell and the number of days until the next full moon that you need to focus on. Add these goals to the next list of goals and intentions you add to your grimoire.
1. Find your community.
Witches or not, knowing who you can and can’t lean on is important. Find a group that you can sob about expensive crystals with and binge that cheesy Netflix drama you’re obsessed with. And whatever your community is, whatever you love, try to surround yourself with people that have a diverse perspective. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, having witches around you from various cultures, religions, and practices has made me more well-rounded and aware than I would have ever been otherwise.
2. Remove yourself from the drama.
There’s not much we can all agree on, but I think it’s safe to say that the witch community is kind of a dramafest. That’s not always a bad thing. It’s great to have a community that can rally together around all of the nonsense in the world. But maybe don’t invest your energy into every single scandal that makes its way into the witchblr tag. You could be using that energy to cast a self-love spell which is honestly probably way more productive.
3. Be confident.
Witchcraft is hard! There’s so much to learn! How can I possibly take charge in all of this!? Witchcraft is super complex, but that doesn’t mean we should be reluctant to own our own power. Be confident about the moves you make. You’ll be stronger and more successful for it. Just be willing to admit when you’re wrong and learn from your mistakes and missteps.
4. Take time to recharge.
This goes for your crystals, your moon water, and most importantly yourself. Witch, so much of what you love requires your energy in more ways than one. Don’t stretch yourself too thin just to attempt a level productivity that you won’t be able to achieve if you’re completely exhausted. Lay in a puddle of moonlight. Take a nap on a warm stone. Whatever you need to do to stay fresh and ready to go.
5. Go outside more.
You don’t have to be doing witchy things to go outside. Go outside, walk around, and just enjoy existing in nature. Feel the sun on your face, and smile! Sure, you can fill your pockets with acorns along the way, but don’t make it a task. Even just taking a little time each day (I sit on my balcony with my dog and a cup of tea every morning before I get ready to go to work.) will let you get the benefit of being part of the world for a while.

Hey fellow witch friends, does anyone have any advice for dealing with intrusive thoughts + A.D.D. complications when trying to focus energy for a specific purpose? I find that when I am trying to enchant objects, like for protection I have to struggle really hard to keep focused plus I get obtrusive thoughts like about the exact opposite of what I’m trying to achieve. Example, I wanted to enchant a pendant for my sister to wear for protection to her and niece but i kept getting flashes of thoughts of them getting hurt etc..... Any tips would be helpful

Ring, ring...
Rowena: Hi, Amber – we have the national marketing information you seek regarding Australia number one women’s health agenda item. Isn’t that great!
Me: What happen to Liz…you know – the staff member who informed me this content does not exist by way of refusing two FOI requests to Health & TGA?
Rowena: yes, well – when you called not 48 hours ago to advise of obtaining the national distribution data– we thought, shit…best give you the associated marketing communication – so we don’t look like the gits, we are.
Could you do me a solid & submit a third departmental FOI request…in fact, just make it identical to the previous two.
Me: well Rowena, I get a solid A+ for computational dexterity including cut & paste – so consider it done.
Meanwhile, campaign strategy & content are developing nicely…for all except a non-secular Federal Government & associated health department with a God-complex – sounds about right…
Devotional Idea!
Make playlists on Spotify for deities! Add songs that remind you of that deity or songs that you think or know that they will like! Don’t have an Spotify? Use iTunes or even just a bookmark folder on your browser to fill with youtube videos.
You could even play songs as offerings too!
Giving and Disposing Offerings
What do you guys to for offerings? and how do you dispose of them? I’m trying to get into giving offerings, but I’m not sure how to exactly do it. What’s your procedure?
