#83: Eat at Noorish
Noorish is an organic vegetarian restaurant, superfood elixir bar, teaching kitchen, retail store, and yoga/meditation studio. The menu consists of organic, local, raw, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free foods.
It was all delicious. I got the “Ashley Burger.” The burger was a chickpea burger, which I had never had before but it was really good. Daniel and I split the entrees in half, so I also got some of his truffled mac & cheese. The noodles were brown rice noodles, and it had coconut bacon which I had heard of - though I didn’t get any in the spoonfuls that I took. The entree came with a spring salad that was full of fresh vegetables, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, and goat cheese. It was delicious. We also splurged and got dessert. Daniel got a chocolate pie, which was really tasty. I got a banoffee pie, which is banana and toffee. It was delicious too. All of it was delicious. The water had chlorophyll added to it - someone please explain this to me. It is supposed to have health benefits to it, but idk.
If you’re in the YEG area, I recommend going out to Noorish. It’s delicious and very health conscious.
