Hitting the Gym

Concentration was the key. That's what she'd been taught. 

Taking a deep breath in, Leigh exhaled slowly through her mouth and shifted into her fighting stance.

Approximately ten minutes ago she had decided that a little adrenaline was what she needed. Dawning on a snug, black tank top and a pair of deep blue yoga pants, then tying her hair back in a simple ponytail, she left the twins in the care of Daren Junior, or DJ, who would be supervised by Madame Ko. 

Already having wrapped her knuckles in tape, Leigh stood barefoot and ready before a punching bag that was just taller than she was. Then, with what could only be described as a Rebel Yell, she twisted on the balls of her left foot, driving her heel into the punching bag and sending it twisting to the left. 

Anticipating it's return, Leigh threw a side jab with her left then a straight with her right. She continued like this for a long while, shouting each time until sweat dripped off of her.

Suddenly, she stopped, bending her knees to brace herself and catching the bag as it came hurtling towards her. 

"What do you want?" she sighed without turning around.

What they’ve been doing for the past eight years(1+ para): 

Nopal is currently under going a physical therapy of sorts with Dr. Argon,who insists that until she is capable of being on her own to stay at the clinic,even though Nopal often says that she could take care of herself.

Dr. Argon usually has her walk around Haven so she can get stronger. When she does this,she usually visits Holly or No.1. Sometimes she even walks over to Police Plaza talk with Foaly about science or something. Twice a month Artemis,Butler,and Holly all go to visit Nopal at the clinic,which Nopal enjoys greatly. She feels herself greatly in debt to Artemis because with him,she would have been stuck in the incubator for the rest of her life.

How they came back to life(if your character died):

After Opal had been defeated and Artemis had died,several scientists from Haven had come to the surface to survey damages,when they noticed a particular clone laying on the ground. Not sure what to do with her,they took the clone back to Haven. Dr. Argon decided that they should observe her to see what the magic had done to her. Everyone was quite shocked to find the next day,that Nopal was alive and functional. After a few years of studying they came to the conclusion that the magic had kept her from dying and also granted her with a soul.

Nopal smiled. The action was a slow one. But then again,almost anything the pixie did was slower than a normal fairy. Even her speech was slowed. But her brain wasn’t. Her brain constantly whizzed with thoughts. Hundreds of thoughts. Thousands of thoughts. All buzzing around in that poor pixie’s head. 

Voicing those thoughts was almost impossible,however. But she didn’t seem to mind. She liked listening. She liked hearing how No.1’s day went. She liked hearing Holly gush over Trouble. She liked hearing Foaly go on about his inventions. She liked hearing Artemis explained a new theory to her. She loved hearing it all. 

But sometimes,she couldn’t help but feel different. ‘Well duh,’Said her mind,’You are different. Always will be.’ 

'Yes. Well I know that.'She said to herself.

'Then why do you act surprised by it?'Her mind asked.

'Because I can't help but imagine what being normal is like.'She answered.

'Then do something about it. Keep working hard. Keep staying strong. You can do that,can't you.'encouraged her mind. 

'Yes. Yes I can.' She smiled to herself. “I c-can and I w-will.”

"You can and will what Nopal?"Asked Holly who was sitting across from her.

"O-oh nothing."Nopal said.
