When the Sundrop and Moonstone were joined together, it created a blast. How come Rapunzel didn't die from it like Cassandra did?

She had a plot shield.

We literally don’t know what Cassandra died from. We have no idea. No one ever said it was the blast that killed her. For all we know, she hit her head on rubble.

Don't you think there could've been at least one scene when Fidella is saddened by Cass' betrayal?

Fidella was not Cassandra’s horse. Fidella was the palace’s horse, and Cassandra sometimes got to ride her. Fidella did not become Cassandra’s until Rapunzel gave her to her at the end of the series. They didn’t have a special bond, and she had no reason to be saddened by it.

What was King Frederic thinking when he let Varian share a prison cell with Andrew?

I am personally of the opinion that that didn’t literally happen. Personally, I headcanon that they had neighboring cells, either right next to each other or across the hall from each other. I mean, look at all the times we’ve seen the cells. There are a lot of empty cells, all up and down the halls. Why would they shove two unrelated criminals - one a minor - into the same cell when there was plenty of space to not do that?

Also, why are you blaming Frederic? Do you honestly think he personally oversees the prisons? No, that’s what the Captain of the Guard is for. It’s called delegation. (And, might I add, the Captain was out of commission when Varian was arrested, so it could be argued that it was someone else’s fault entirely, even if it literally happened.)

Lucky!!! No, I haven’t gotten mine yet, but my entire state over the age of 14 becomes available tomorrow, so... hopefully I’ll be fully-vaccinated by my birthday!

@nostalgialover808​: I don’t think it was the same event. I think the Moonstone knew Edmund planned to destroy it and struck first. After all, the way the whole thing went down in the book is not how it went down in the series. There’s not even a mention of the Brotherhood. The whole Moonstone attack/emptying of the DK was a process, not a single afternoon.

You know, it didn't seem right for the Captain of the Guards to not tell Cassandra who her mother was. But how could he?

Why should he tell her who she was? Gothel abandoned her. He watched her do it. What was he going to say, “Your mother is the one who kidnapped the Lost Princess, and I adopted you when she abandoned you.” Like... Cassandra already had enough trauma from the experience as it was, let’s add guilt onto it. Because what abandoned child wouldn’t internalize that it was somehow their fault that their mother (who abandoned them) had kidnapped the princess? How could Cassandra not feel like she had somehow failed Gothel by not being a good enough daughter, so that Gothel would want to go and get a different one?

Also, if Cassandra knew, she’d have this added stigma of the entire kingdom mourning every year and knowing that she was the same blood as the person who was responsible for the entire kingdom’s suffering.

I sometimes imagine that if Eugene's mother had still been alive and had been on the show, she'd cover her son's face with kisses and when she'd stop. King Edmund would smirk and say, "You missed a spot." And the Dark Kingdom Queen would go back to kissing Eugene. What do you think? ^^

On the one hand, that’s adorable.

On the other hand, mother or not, Eugene doesn’t know her, and there’s something kind of icky to me about people just... accepting lost parents. Eugene did it right when he took a long time to get used to the idea of Edmund being his dad. I don’t know why his mom - who, if she was still alive, would have also abandoned him - should get special treatment.
