I used a wheelchair for the annual art museum excursion today and literally got stuck in multiple rooms because the door buttons in worked but the door buttons out simply did nothing. I vented all my saved-up bile from years of working at a museum where accessibility was treated as an afterthought despite the bar being all but literally on the floor (as in we had no door button on the front door) into their "contact us" form.
