I’m actually so tired of playing the oppression olympics with yall
#it sucks to be a trans person rn#transfemme folks are over regulated in sports#transmasc folks are seeing access to binders come into question in the us#transfemme folks often take multiple forms of hrt#transmasc folks’ hrt is a controlled substance that is difficult to stockpile#I could go on and on listing the differences#but that’s the exact point: our experiences are similar but different#not harder#not easier#but different#if we want to really talk about who’s experience of transness is more difficult#we need to look at the disparities for trans people of color#and if we want to delve even deeper#we need to look at class disparity and its effect on passing privilege#I’m so tired of hearing white trans folks squabble over who has it worse#we are wasting our fucking time
