I would like to raise the alarm of caution when you read literature or poetry or philosophy. While it does bring in a certain perspective, a unique angle to a subject - the idea is never one of limitations. It is not to confine your mind to that particular notion, or idea, or school of thought. But rather it must act as a compass which is revealing only one degree of truth where as on a scale of 360°, there are still so many other doors of understanding, grasping, comprehending, approaching a subject. Even the deepest of works may still be falling short of greater depths. So let that head and heart do the needful work by ever approaching a subject from a different viewpoint, through different lenses. May be you need to really climb to the top of a mountain to really get a bird's eye view of the entire landscape.
