How do you feel about Notker?
“We get along, but I don’t like his ethics pertaining his ‘pupils‘. To give them the Blood, purely to have them yodeling for all eternity rubs me the wrong way.“ @notkerthewise @jadedcreole

rank all the de Landens in order of attractiveness
“This is going to hurt someone’s feelings, I know it, so please, all of you, know that I love you each dearly and would kiss and hold each of you. Eleni, Everard, Eugénie, Alessandra, Notker my child.”
Notker
“Nabbing, Outlandish, Take, Kettle, Eel, Tweezers.“
👧 - What is your muse’s relationship like with their siblings? Who do they get along with best?
//This is all HC, but I’ll include it anyway. In his mortal life he had four older brothers and it was as good as it could get. He was a bit of a latecomer and because of this some of his brothers already had their own lives and family when he was old enough to form bonds, so he only got to really be close to the two brothers closest to his birth. He trusted them and loved them as much as was allowed.
//Also just HCs because the Aphabettery sucks ass. When it comes to vampire siblings, it is a lot more divided. In our HCs, Everard only got to live with one of his blood siblings, Benedict, while he was in Rhosh’ castle. Their relationship is extremely brittle, but there certainly is a bond there and an undeniable connection. He met Eleni and Eugénie when taken into the cult and grew extremely close to Eleni. Eugénie he never truly bonded with. When Allesandra arrived in the cult, she became his most hated blood sister, because she was with her methods a polar opposite of his beloved Eleni, despite sharing the same past.
[text @notkerthewise] Where are you right now?
Which deLandens do you care about and which do you wish did not survive? How many years is between you and the oldest deLanden?
“I care about me first and foremost and close second is Eleni. Benedict and Notker are the lucky ones, not having to survive anything. I don’t know if it is as much as caring for them or just tolerating their presence. I care very little for Eugénie. Her survival is a bit of a mediocre joke, to be honest. Makes my escape seem a lot less of a victory when a wet towel can do it too. And when it comes to not deserving to survive, that would be Allesandra. Apparently she did.“
“She’s also the oldest. I have no idea how much older she is than Benedict, but he and I differ roughly five hundred years. The others are in between.“
👾what was my muse’s childhood bogeyman?
//There was a de Landen family legend that told of the strange disappearances of some born in that family. It had been passed on from generation to generation. Some of the stories telling of a demon. Some called it a witch. Some even the devil himself.
When he was still a boy, he once fell heavily ill from pneumonia and the spiking fevers would have him hallucinating, swearing he kept seeing a woman in the shadowy folds of the curtains, terrified it was the witch to come and snatch him away.
It was only years later that he was taken and eventually turned by Rhoshamandes and found out about the de Landen vampires, which he then learned had actually been the source of the disappearances and thus the source of the family legend. But despite that, he still was/is quite fearful of witches.
Before he was turned, he had no idea what he was facing and all he knew of Rhoshamandes was what he saw with his own, mortal eyes and rumors of his mysterious magic, so he did not know any better than them (Rhoshamandes and Benedict) to be warlocks and equally in cahoots with the devil as witches were.
On the topic of Everard becoming a rockstar like Notker wondered. Everard would be the Freddy Mercury to Lestat's Bon Jovi.
ooc: Shut the front door!! I’ve been a life long fan of Queen, been to see them three times in the last five years and went to the Bohemian Rhapsody film last week. And I got such strong Everard vibes and inspiration from it. He and Freddie would have been great friends. And shared clothes. In that period Eve was a lot more flashy because he tends to imitate those that leave an impact on him. I also HC that he has a good voice and can give you Bohemian Rhapsody as if it was a walk in the park. He also has two auctioned Freddie’s jackets in his clothing collection. <3 Thanks for feeling the same way. This only motivates me more.
