Let’s talk about Not Literally Productions

Not Literally is a parody music and comedy production group founded by Ginny DiGuiseppi, Dana Ritterbusch, and Erik Tande in 2011. They are well-known for their comedy videos on YouTube. Particularly, their parodies for Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff houses from Harry Potter.

In 2013, they created an Indiegogo campaign to complete the quadrilogy and make a Ravenclaw parody.

Over $8,000 was raised by nearly 200 backers, all promised perks and a music video on YouTube. None of these promises were delivered upon and no refunds were ever issued.

On December 9, 2014 they posted about uploading and deleting an unfinished version of the video

On December 12, 2014, they uploaded a teaser for the Ravenclaw parody “Smarter”

After Ginny left the company, Dana and Erik continued to bicker about dissolving the company and scrapping “Smarter” all together.

On March 15, 2015, they posted the current affairs of the company. This did not resolve anything.

As of 2017, no updates have been made on this and no one is talking about it.

I feel like more people need to know about this scam.

I have always took pride in the diversity of my country in terms of culture, language, climate and religion. But tbh I would rather live in a country that is not a pile of dead bodies. The sheer stupidity of its people and the astounding carelessness of its authorities - be it Railway department, police department, municipal corporation or polticians - is shameful. This was a tragedy that could have and should have been avoided. It's no use to dwell on what has already happened. I only know one thing and that is that this Has To Stop. We do not literally need to see the ravna burning to understand the difference between the good and the bad. Say. No. To. Fireworks. They're useless and not worth the cost. Not just because a big accident happened and a lot of people died this time but because a few die here and there every year, houses catch fire every year on Dussehra and Diwali. It's not worth the money, the time, the environment and the life. Burn the Ravana but #notliterally And if you have to do it anyway then how do you feel about little wax-doll candles? Light the candle and ravna can burn slowly.
