Maybe the show isn't going the way you think it should. I get that and you have a right to be upset and you have the right to say you won't watch it any more. What you don't have the right to do, is say that what they've done for the LGBT community isn't valid any longer. Hunny, if you want me to point you in the direction of some BL series that will give you all the feels and not piss you off, I can. But it's not going to have raised money for the LGBT community, it's not going to have actual activists in it, it's not going to talk about equal marriage rights and wave a damn pride flag! Why? Because this is the first series to do more than just make money off the community and not give back!

I feel like the dialogue about bravery & fear White had could fit his feelings in regards to both Sean & Black but right now Imma focus solely on Sean.

White has kept Sean in his focus since the moment they met, he ask just as many questions in regards to him as he ask in relation to his brother. I think because of that he more than the other members senses that the issue between Sean and Tawi & personal and not just a justice war. He gave him lead because like always he seeks to help Sean (a natural response more than an act of forethought) but once he gives him that leadership he also feels like he has to temper him for anything personal can be messy - or like he says to himself in this episode being brave without fear is like an explosive with no target (dangerous for everyone) and if Sean is to be bravery then he has the role of fear so they can accomplish what it is they hope to achieve.

It frustrates him that Sean hasn’t shared his plans. A large part of him seeks to partner with Sean and I don’t think it’s down to attraction. When he flailing to become Black and failing Sean was the one carrying his weight despite his suspicions. Hes seen Sean lead in a pinch when he couldn’t handle it and that’s given him a sense of being able to rely on him in his own way and he wants Sean to have that same regard for him. He wants to get to a place where Sean to trust and listen him one day. He seems to want a partnership with Sean the most despite their rivalry.

It’s through Sean that he’s come to his biggest moments of truly understanding his brother and the world that they live in. Their moments have given him the most introspective. Even when he begs Gram to explain the why behind them attacking Tawi he doesn’t get it and I’m sure that clarity when it comes will center Sean in some way.

I do think because he already has this desire of exactly how he wants their relationship to be in Regards to bond is why he’s already territorial. He was livid walking in to see them in bed & a part of him wanted Sean to know that hence shoulder bump as well as being upset at him also taking her home. Then being further frustrated when Sean rubbed his nose in it (literally). I think if the reveal doesn’t come before their relationship that territorial ‘my space’ concept will be back just this time more in regards to him in the space of his brother under his identity and Sean ‘falling’ for him under the guise of that identity.

I also feel that White’s desire for a partnership with Sean is his Achilles heel. He’s so focused on Sean sometimes that he leaves himself open in ways that would never happen with Black and that focus has ppl taking a second look at him. Even Sean himself can use this focus against White. White shows cares for Sean where Black did not - physically, emotionally & and even mentally. And I think Sean is more aware of this than ppl give him credit for.
