Perhaps Lucius had lied to the boy, it wasn’t that Draco wasn’t home, it was just that he had made no effort to notify him that his friend was here. Lucius just needed some company, someone to share a finely aged whiskey and talk to. Gone were the days where Narcissa indulged him in idle chit chat and well, most of his friends were in Azkaban.
It was nice talking to Theodore, the boy held a sense of maturity and carried himself well. He was always one of Lucius’ favourites out of Draco’s friends, not that they really seemed to be true friends. Draco much preferred the company of Crabbe and Goyle, such poor choice when there was a boy like Theodore.
Lucius was so enthralled in their conversation he had moved to sit next to him on the couch. The boy intrigued him and that intrigue lead to casual flirting, lingering glances all of which meant little to Lucius because neither would act on it. But then Lucius noticed the young Mr. Nott staring at him, his tongue darting out to wet his lips. Lucius just couldn’t help but stare back at those delectable lips that the younger wizard had drawn attention to. He didn’t mean for it to be a dare.
Theodore had taken him by surprised, pulling him close and kissing him in a way that was less than chaste. There was desire laced in that kiss, underneath a burning need for Lucius to simply take him. Lucius pulled away, swallowing hard before straightening himself out.
“I think you’ve had too much to drink, Mr. Nott,” Lucius said as he plucked the glass from the younger man’s hand and placed it on the table.
