I like Dani as a character, but you’re 100 percent right. I just... don’t see brightwell working super well? It feels like the writers were just like “Well we have a conventionally attractive male and female that work together. They must end up together, even if they’re wildly different and have nothing in common.”

Idk, maybe my mind will change if they develop Dani more. But I really don’t see it surpassing Maldrisa for me. They just have a lot more in common and take an interest in what the other is saying, even if outsiders would find what they’re talking about “weird”.

Yeah it’s a development problem, it’s weird because I’m like “well they have nothing in common” but WTF, for all I know they’re personality twin flames but the show has utterly failed to develop Dani to the point where I know absolutely nothing about what she likes or dislikes.

What type of job are you hoping to get once you’re done with your postsecondary courses?

I don’t think grad school is an option anymore. My GPA is too low and it will take me 5 years minimum to get this bachelors, so probably will look for any science job that I can get with my combination of Bachelors and Technical Diploma in Environmental Chemistry.

Frankly I’m just burned out from almost 10 years of post secondary education with a lot of failures, so regardless on whether I ever go back to school I need a break.

I am hoping that I can work in Scientific Research in some capacity, but I’m broke so aside from oil/mining companies, I’ll probably apply anywhere just so I can get experience/money.

I’m glad I’m not the only person here ready to rant about the objectification some parts of this fandom show. Don’t get me wrong, I love Mela and get hyped when she shows up! I like her attitude and her design and am super hyped for her Dream Weaver, even though I doubt we’ll get it soon. But like,,, I voted for Kimi because I see her more and have a better understanding of the lore behind her character and her personality is more fleshed out.

Exactly. I like Mela too, and if it weren’t for Kimi there, instead some other secondary character, I’d totally be voting for her, but at the same time, it’s not like Kimi is not a popular character within the fandom?? I think she might be one of the most loved ones and to see her lose to Mela because “she hot” really tells a lot.

But at the same time the whole playerbase is not in the fandom so what do I know, the numbers in here might mean nothing in the bigger scale. And as I said in the tags maybe not everyone follows the story so between Kimi and Mela, the more appealing one is the latter.

Still it’s a little disheartening.
