DO NOT SUSCRIBE TO NOVEL TEA CLUB

It’s sad that I have to do this. I have given them every chance to correct their mistake, though.

I subscribed to Novel Tea Club (www.noveltea.club) in February. It was a birthday present to myself. I was very excited. I pre-paid for 3 months via CrateJoy.

On February 20th or so my first box shipped. It was exactly as anticipated: a book, some tea, a cutesy candle, and few small chocolate bars. I devoured the book in one weekend.

March 20th approaches. I am super excited, but no shipping notice arrives in my e-mail. Oh. Well. That happens, I’ll probably get it soon.

As of March 30th or so I still hadn’t gotten a shipping notice. I log into CrateJoy and notice my subscription is now showing cancelled. Huh, weird. Probably a glitch re-activate and send e-mail to NovelTea Club’s contact info.

No response.

Compose slightly more firm e-mail (but still polite) on April 12th.

No response.

Compose very firm e-mail (but still polite) with resolution suggestions on April 14th:

Hello,

I am writing for the 3rd time regarding my March box. In February I prepaid for a 3 month subscription. I received by 1st box without incident but have not received my 2nd. Per the info provided, this box should have been sent March 20-24th.

I have sent two e-mails regarding this with no response. At this point I will accept either of the following resolutions:

1) Send my March box immediately with tracking. I would prefer this option as this is what I signed up for.

2) Consider my pre-payment as covering February, April, and May. Do not charge my renewal until June.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience so far. I was very excited for this subscription box and greatly enjoyed the first one I received.

Please respond to this e-mail by Wednesday, April 19th.

I have still not received a response.

And I also haven’t got a shipping notice for the April box either.

TL;DR NovelTea Club is quite possibly a scam. Either that or they’ve discontinued their service and are not informing their customers. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!
