A couple years ago I binge played “a tavern for tea” by npckc and I don’t think I made this much fan art since my Steven universe era

OK SO FIRST OF ALL

If you don't remember me ranting about my favorite little itch visual novel, Year of Springs is a charming tiny trilogy bundled into a single game/collection. Each novel focuses on a different member of the trio, taking about an hour each if you go for all endings. The first is about the mundane hassles of an anxious trans woman trying to join her friend for a night at a hot spring (with added tension from meeting the new friend she got in college). Second of a girl struggling to set up a party for the first protagonist in a world that's not always kind. And the third of a sheltered girl trying to figure out her feelings on things like romance and friendship. Silly as it sounds, one of the most influential little trilogies on my life. The trilogy is on all consoles, steam, gog, google play, and itch. AND the first one, "One Night, Hot Spring," is available for free on at least most of those. ALSO, there might be community copies of "Year of Springs" on itch.o if you can't afford the $5. (I just threw in a few as well, we'll see if they last. If I'm going to spread the word might as well help out here.)

the reason I bring this up is that she's trying to make PLUSHIES! With optional skeleton for posing. Obviously I'm biased, I grabbed the previous merch and even copy Haru's outfit to wear during winter. But now there is a chance at SOFT CUDDLY FRIENDS. However it's based on preorders, at least 50 have to go through for the production run to actually happen. So outside spreading the word to those who loved the visual novels and just didn't know, I figured I'd try to make a quick appeal to try the games. At least try the first, which is free!

And then when you love them, if you wish to support (and help the plushies happen), here's the campaign for them if you're interested. Regardless of the plush, I'm just glad for an excuse to spread the word on the novels :3

Game 54: A Year of Springs Jan2024 A Year of Springs is bunch of visual novels in the soft story telling that I have come to know npckc for. It doesn't deal too much in drama, and lets it's cast be supportive and open with each other in a way that can sometimes feel unrealistic to my generation. That being said, I do feel these games have a place properly in the future as more people want to look into their own sexuality and find more positive works of discovering yourself.

The game also has a neat little unlock feature for leading into the next game, and a gallery mode to see all the cute pictures you acquire through out your playthroughs. As well, there is an epilogue that shows the cast of characters a little after everything is resolved, and while I hope we get more of them, it's nice to see them being sweet to each other one last time. If you're looking for a comfy game for your gays, this trilogy hits the spot.

Donating blood for hungry vampires.

This game is avaliable to download to Windows, Android and Mac, and it’s completly free.

Again, no romance (I’m sorry all romantics here, I promise, that I have plenty of content for you). It’s a short and sweet game about a clinic where you can donate blood for vampires to use. We are a human that doesn’t know much about vampires and wants to learn more. Does vampries burn in the sun? What are vampire traditions? You will learn all of that thanks to our cute hosts.

It’s really simple game, mostly visual novel with some small quizez and mini games. There are also multiple endings, I think three, but I really recommend checking out diffrent dialogue options. It’s really easy as this game has save option.

As for MC, we can name them, choose their pronouns and even a little of their apparance.

It’s a really short game, even if check out every ption, it would be at maximum one hour of content, but it will make you smile.

There aren’t any trigger warning, but if you don’t like talking about blood I would be careful (but no blood is seen).

Ponownie, żadnego romansu (wybaczcie mi wszyscy obecni tu romantycy, obiecuję, że dostaniecie w przyszłości wiele kontentu) . Jest to bardzo krótka i urocza gra o klinice, w której to możesz oddawać krew dla wampirów do użycia. Jesteśmy człowiekiem, który nie wie zbyt wiele o wampirach, ale chce dowiedzieć się więcej. Czy wampiry płoną gdy wyjdą na słońce? Jak wyglądają wampirze tradycje? Dowiesz się właśnie tego z pomocą naszych uroczych gospodarzy.

Jest to bardzo prosta gierka, w większości powieść wizualna z kilkoma małymi testami oraz mini gierkami. Gra ma kilka zakończeń, jeżeli się nie mylę to dokładnie trzy, ale zdecydowanie polecam sprawdzanie każdej opcji dialogowej, ponieważ są po prostu bardzo przyjemne do czytania. Jest to bardzo proste, ponieważ gra ma opcję zapisywania.

Gra jest bardzo krótka, nawet jeżeli sprawdzisz każdą możliwą opcję, będzie to maksymalnie godzina kontentu, ale zdecydowanie sprawi, że będziesz się uśmiechać.

Na stronie nie ma żadnych ostrzeżeń, ale jeżeli nie lubisz rozmawiania o krwi, byłobym ostrożne (ale żadna krew nie jest widoczna).
