Persistent Plumber vs Brutal Beast

Originally created for Mar10 day, I decided to do a Mario piece regardless even if belated. I remember my first Mario game being New Super Mario Bros for the DS, and remember my first legendary encounter with big bad Bowser. I wanted to recreate while also drawing Mario characters in my art style for the first time. Very happy (and rather shocked) with the result!!

Whenever people bring up NSMBDS's unique Bosses they just mean Mummipokey they always mean Mummipokey (occasionally Lakithunder but Mummipokeys there too) and I can't blame them Mummipokey rocks look at them I'm not entirely sure why they have a Mouth like that but its sick

Was doing some light research to figure out once and for all what the emblem on the Super Mario Bros flagpole is supposed to be, and it seems that Nintendo and Alpha Dream can’t agree, either.

Grasslands' Location

So in Super Mario Bros. 3 there is a location referred to as the Grass Land or Grasslands. This place is actual the main location surrounding the Mushroom Kingdom.

In Mario Party 9 when Mario and friends head East to Toad/Adventure Road to stop Bowser, Bowser and Bowser Junior state this is in the Grasslands. We can also tell this is the Mushroom Kingdom still due to the water and hills.

What's notable is in every game when you go to rescue the Princess you head East. For example New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. DS. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper
