Does anyone know if the fragments of the Noniad in Harrow the Ninth are meant to parody any specific scenes from the Iliad?
I'm reading through Emily Wilson's introduction to her rendering of the Odyssey now and I wondered.

Nth spends the first moments of his human shaped life screaming in agony with his dick out and the party wonders why hes like that
Happy Spiderlight Day! Have some doodles.
spiders light doodles.
Nth - Spiderlight
Did some sketches tonight trying to imagine nth from Adrien Tchaikovsky’s Spiderlight . (It’s a banger of a book that deserves more hype)
Creation notes
- from nth’s initial description, I believe he has two large main eyes, two little forehead eyes, and maybe some other little eyes thrown in
- his mouth should have two extra long needle fangs (with slots in lower jaw). — I wound up doing one (middle) version of him where he had human skin flap analogs for spider mouth parts, which turned out interesting, but isn’t technically cannon 🥲
- nth lying down in bed on the morning before fighting the demon lord: Cyrene describes his back as being leanly muscled, but all the muscles being in slightly the wrong place for a human anatomy. I wound up using a greyhound as reference, but it turned out a little janky.
@nth-deserved-better I hope you, as the only other active member of this fandom I know of, enjoy this fanart
When reading the part with King in "Not Today Herpes" I had the "Why are you running?! Why are you running?!" meme playing rent free in my head.
It's the same vibe!😂
This is actually my attitude towards most men.
