Understanding "The Last Chance Diet" – A Risky Approach to Weight Loss
Exploring the Effectiveness and Risks of The Last Chance Diet “The Last Chance Diet” is an extreme weight loss program from the 1970s that was based on the concept of a protein-sparing modified fast (PSMF). Developed by Dr. Robert Linn, this controversial diet promised rapid weight loss through extreme calorie restriction, primarily using a liquid formula made from animal by-products. While it…
Poe’s Law is so real man. I genuinely can’t tell if this is satire or not
Ahoy matey! Welcome ablog! You've found yourself on a real, genuine scurvy-haver's blog! I've been generally nutrient deficient since the early-mid 2010s (starting easy with iron, then onto calcium, then v*tamin D) and over the years worked my way up to an official scurvy diagnosis in 2021! I don't know if I'll ever be able to commit myself to a v*tamin B deficiency since I love monster energy drinks so much, but I might manage v*tamin A eventually!
2 good charts to see how your plants are doing :)
(wish i could give credit to who made these, had these in my downloads for years now. OP we thank you)
here’s to hoping this will be the last black moult, I think with Mia is took 2 years(?) after starting to eat veggies before her feathers would grow in vibrant and stay vibrant all the way until they were moulted out. For the most part his feathers are doing okay, his tail and torso feathers are staying strong, but his head, coverts, and primaries keep fading out right before a heavy moult. Really hoping this is the last year for him, these feathers would have come in during his first set of bloodwork after we moved which showed high protein and low calcium which makes sense as to why they’d be more poor-quality feathers. Now all his bloodwork says he’s golden so for now it’s just a matter of his feathers re-vamping themselves one last time and hopefully they’ll stay strong right through to the moult.

Image-based nutrient deficiency detection in banana (Musa acuminata) leaves through support vector machine and neural network stacking
Abstract Banana production plays a vital role in the agricultural economy of tropical countries such as the Philippines, where maintaining crop health is essential for sustaining yield and ensuring farmer livelihoods. Nutrient deficiencies in banana leaves, often manifested through discoloration, leaf deformation, or necrosis, pose challenges to timely diagnosis, especially for smallholder…
