From my knowledge, Nekos can go back and forth between cat and human form, but their human form is usually naked, and has cat ears and tail.

Richie, in his cat form, being found by Max and (secretly) brought in. They take nap together and when they wake up, Richie is in his human form. Queue Max finding out and them trying to keep it a secret.
