Perthro. This actually isn't a rune pull. Loki wanted this made for the altar. Of all the runes, Perthro's meanings are least understood. So some interpretations of the rune are tied heavily to the unknown/unknowable. Lot cup is actually one of the agreed upon associations/meanings. Chance, luck, gambling/risks, the unexpected. Fate. (Loki is a god of change and very much associated with fate/the weaving of fate and the unexpected.) Some other associations include prophecy and divination, secrets, and synchronicities.

The chosen tree bark is oak.The oak tree is considered sacred in a number of traditions. They are associated with strength, wisdom/knowledge, and vitality. In the Northern Tradition, the oak is associated with Thor and Angrboda, and the phrase "Iron Wood" was used to refer to the oak tree.

I created some altar ornaments, for a number of reasons. First and most importantly, I wanted to, because I care deeply for Those I made them for.

One of the runes of the day is Dagaz. As I've mentioned before, I associate Dagaz with Loki because Dagaz is asking with, among other things, dramatic change. And the Algiz is for protection and divine connection.

Two of the ornaments are for Lucifer. For Him, I made the Leviathan Cross and the Sigil of Lucifer.
